idk the EP as a whole was pretty innovative in terms of genre imo (especially for the time that it came out) it's like dark electronic, bass-y, mysterious, but still combines elements of sugar coated bubble gum pop to me, it makes an even greater impact because it has fewer tracks, but remains some of the best (and undoubtedly critically underrated) work from her + SOPHIE. sometimes less is more.

tbh i wish SOPHIE would release these bangers already not only to satisfy my hunger, but i genuinely believe they will help skyrocket her success i just want her to do so well and have the most fans ever adlfjdlasjfla;faadlkf imagine a full length collab/features album like Cashmere Cat/Disclosure/Clean Bandit's albums

i wish Atlantic would stop trying to make her a hit with the mainstream public bc it's obviously not working *that* well i mean, she seems to not even really like the 'hits' that Atlantic keeps forcing her to put out and promote herself anyway (which are also the only recent ones with videos, which are BC, ATAP, Boys, 5ITM .etc ) like, there are so many artists out there who aren't focused on getting mainstream radio hits, but who have strong fan bases on the Internet (Twitter, LB, reddit, YT, etc..) and still do decently well. i hope she will resign with another label someday soon so she can have her true artistic freedom back bc i think that would genuinely make her happier (most important), as well as fans

yaeji's a pretty bad ass visual artist on the side of being a musician she's a super talented chick -- this "LQ artwork" is definitely intentional and coincides with her overall aesthetic/style (take a look at some of her EP covers, for example)
