I’d say it’s definitely still a party banger! The instrumental on the verses goes wild! But then it’ll switch to Charli in this slinky auto tune vocals. I’m imagining the music video as an insane asylum switching between all the inmates rooms haha! It definitely has a SOPHIE feel to it in terms of Pots and Pans lmao

Charli’s sings/says the hook at the start and in between each artist’s verse. It doesn’t ever get as manic as I Got It, but it has some sort of different distortion and effect on each time along with each artist doing the hook aswell!

Next Level Charli, Click and Shake It are my trinity. Next Level Charli is the same as Big Bratt as in it’s one long repeating (I think) rap, but she wasn’t lying when she said it’s the Angels anthem. There’s one lyric like “turn the volume up in your bedroom! put your hands up and scream!” There’s a quality about the song that makes you want to be with your best friends and live life lol! Layered harmonies and Charli XCX tags at the end I posted this about Shake It earlier: Silver Cross and Official/Types are my favourite solo tracks. White Mercedes is cute but I think I prefer the old production!

I hope I’ve not overhyped it for when you listen lol! But her verse and Dylan Brady’s production on her verse are the best bits about the song!

She’s performing on the Jonathan Ross in the UK on Saturday night with Christine! The car from the music video is there and everything!

The album sounds so beautiful to listen to it all together, except that 1999 doesn’t fit in with the album at all! Listening to it from start to finish it just sounds so jarring.

Slowest track is I Don’t Wanna Know and then Official, WM, and finally Thoughts

She LITERALLY saved the best for last. Music PEAKED with this song. It is a banger! It’s NO No Angel but it’s is catchy. It’s almost a N1A and Pop 2 track hybrid to me!

Y’all are gonna lose your minds when you hear Kim on Click! The production is unreal It’s like when Nicki Minaj made the best verse on Monster by Kanye West lol

It’s a sad emo bop! The synths go up and down with the melody! She’s singing in this almost Jamaican? accent that makes her sound like a man with the heavy auto tune lol! Lyrics: Driving round Hollywood I can only think about you! Ever lasting pain and it weighs on my body, it’s you!

It goes Freedia, Cupcakke, Brooke and then Pablo. Charli is speaking the hook in between all of the different verses. Pablo’s verse starts with an English intro before going back into Spanish/Portuguese (I’m not sure which she speaks!) but it’s really cool with hard drums and has a crazy outro before going to the Shake It chorus.

Also the Charli Baby and Eh eh X C X tags are still alive and well on some of the tracks!

The production on Shake It is INSANE. Each artist really kills it. It’s similar to I Got It in that it switches up for every different different artist and soundscapes between left and right. Next Level Charli, Click and Shake It are literally impeccable and are gonna go OFF live.

I just wanted to clarify that I actually got Official and I Don’t Wanna Know mixed up earlier. I wasn’t sent a snippet of Official but I’ve heard it now! I don’t know what Types is so I don’t know how to confirm it! EDIT: Looked up the Types snippet and it is official!

Next Level Charli - it is Big Bratt by AG and Charli is rapping in the same way on the original track and her vocal is reminding me of the way she says “Bad boy make a bad girl” in Blame It On U from N1A Click - The snippet I was sent was very tame in that it’s Charli just low key spitting on top of a plodding beat like from the snippet from her IG story. I Don’t Wanna Know - I’m not sure what to say about this snippet but it’s exactly like Charli said. Autotune reciting and a synth-y beat. White Mercedes - Drums on the chorus and it’s a guitar riff on the verse. Silver Cross - I kind of got True Romance vibes from this snippet in a ILY2 way. Lyrics are: I’ll never you let you go! You know! Head on my chest! A silver cross! Official - The slowest song on the record. Kick Drum and I think it’s an organ like Synth? Shake It - I was really surprised with the snippet because I was expected a banger from the get go but we hear a breathy auto tune pant from Charli and then Big Freedia comes on with this nuts EDM rapid bounce beat.

It’s been said many times but if Silver Cross is the Jam City collab isn’t going to be the lyrics and melody ONLY Charli didn’t recognise the production when she saw the video on Twitter so if anything it’s just the vocals we’re getting

If anything Silver Cross will be the song in lyrics only and the instrumental will be different
