I think she does on one hand and doesn't care on the other. like I think every pop star wants to be a star. also her career trajectory in terms of releasing an album and going on tour would be way easier if she provides a hit song for Atlantic. Atlantic was SO stingy with Dua Lipa and didn't want to release her album then New Rules became a hit and now they're supporting her and screening Charli's phone calls
