these leaked in March (April?) 2017 and I always had the feeling she shot these to show to the label/A&R what the concept/aesthetic for the film was going to be? i'd love to get more from this shoot though someone posted here the other day proof that Recess was written in August 2016 though

it wasn't registered until summer 2019, meaning it was registered under that name way after they had decided it was going to be the credits song. doesn't mean it was written with that purpose

didn't she plan on making Fire Drill the closer with the whole school set on fire? how come if the album was finished in 2017?

The other day y’all said she didn’t say anything when Drama Club leaked but she did say something shady in a Q&A shortly after K-12 was announced I think, when asked about the tracklist she said ‘it’d be easier for someone to just leak the titles’ I think that’s what pisses Mel off the most, cause if iirc MPH also leaked before the album was out, and she always tries to keep the concept/tracklist/story as a surprise and you can tell what MM3 is gonna be like from what’s been shared, her upcoming shit always leaks in advance and it must be frustrating the other reason I can think of is because she got a lot of hate, specially during 2015-2017 for glamorizing child abuse, pedophilia and other taboo themes in her songs and it seems with After School and MM3 she’s moving on to more spiritual/introspective mature ideas, so she probably regrets writing some songs about dark topics she really knew nothing about. see how she wasn’t mad and even discussed 99 cent store because it was just a love song

I don’t get this ‘it wasn’t supposed to come out’ narrative when Mel herself said that if she could she would’ve released 20+ songs on Cry Baby? like I think leaking Berry Juice was disrespectful regardless if it’s scrapped or not because Mel is still adding final touches to the album so that verse/hook whatever could still be used somehow but why does she care that I Scream and Seesaw leaked?
