Unpopular opinion but P4U is boring and HBHG is a dated mess

Okay let’s state some facts - Sucker is better than True Romance. Red Balloons is an unlistenable mess and I have to be in the mood for So Over You but every other track is ace, specially Caught In the Middle, Need Ur Luv, Breaking Up and Gold Coins - 100 Bad is tragic, now that Charli’s remix came out I guess I like it a bit more but I only use her verse - Regardless of how old the other tracks are, 5ITM is the best monthly release (and her best single since Breaking Up) and GNO is a bad attempt at having a 2015 revamp of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. 5ITM > No Angel >>> Focus >>>>>>>>> Girls Night Out

Tbh most of the songs she’s recorded this year that we know of, White Mercedes, 5ITM, 1000 Times, Shoes, Dance All Night etc all sound very watered down in comparison to VV. They’re electronic but not PC Music imo (like majority of POP2 btw)

Omg didn’t she say she hated green? I had a dream that Dua Lipa still hadn’t released her debut album but she had released all of the songs as singles except for one: a cover of Round & Round which was her next single

Well except for 5ITM which was released on a Thursday, all of the singles were released on the last Friday of the month (29 and 27) so 31st seems reasonable

I know we’ve gotten so many leaks this week, and I’m extremely grateful. But all I ask for is for her to release on a mixtape, on the album or as stand alone singles, finished and high quality versions of Hate Myself for Loving You, Come to My Party, Die 4 and 1999. I need those in WAV and that’s all. And a decent artwork for the album cover, specially after seeing the XCX World shoot and the Andrew Thomas Huang promos for the XCX summer singles. The POP2 cover is cute and pretty, but the photoshoot is so basic. I hope we get something better for the album.

They both have minimalistic production, even though lyrically they are the opposite, to me they kind of compliment each other, like they're ying & yang for me. Plus the whole industrial vibe of the video, singing alone in a building with blue colors looks so vulnerable to me and fits WM perfectly. And the cover? It literally looks like she's riding a silver motorcycle

I'm not really into SOPHIE's work other than her stuff with Charli tbh. I've heard a couple of tracks from her album and you can't tell me it's the same person singing on It's Okay to Cry (the only one I like so far), PONYBOY and Faceshopping. Thanks for the clarification, cyberhrt
