pop is just kind of a dying market as far as top 40 goes. when boom clap was at its peak charli was competing with artists like meghan trainor and jessie j, whereas the top performing artists right now are travis scott, post malone, etc. charli can collab with as many soundcloud rappers as she wants, she's still a pop artist. pop music is of course not going anywhere but she was already kind of fringe when it was what everyone was listening to, so where does that leave her now?

idk what summa y'all are waiting on to leak the xcx world album shoot, it will never end up being used. they shot it at least 2 years ago for an album that has since leaked and been scrapped, and charli looks completely different now. even if they wanted to keep the concept they would without a doubt reshoot it. we have 2 teasers already so at least leak ONE of those in full

does the last "no boys" in the bridge before "it's a girls night out" bother anyone else or just me... the whole song has her saying "no boys" 6 times but at that part she says it 7.... it sticks out like a sore thumb to me

i hope she dedicates some time and effort to promoting GNO, this song is influential enough to be her magnum opus. boys isn't half the song GNO is and it did quite well due to the video and promo. if charli funds the promo for GNO i think it would be a great investment in her career; this is the number 1 song that fans have been waiting for her to release. imagine a music video with cameos from all her female friends, including trailer and kkkamila

if she wanted to release blame it on ur luv then she should have done away w track 10. if she is planning on releasing it then i imagine she's reworked it but even in this case it seems stupid to me. like i genuinely just can't even wrap my head around how messy of a decision that would be. she's got mountains of songs that are so good, many of which her fans have been waiting for her to release, so she's gonna release a shittier version of a song she already put out? ok girly

i'm holding out hope for party for you so it can get promo in august, it just seems fitting to me. i'd love for party party to be released but i just doubt that's going to happen especially as a single. actually both songs sound a bit too experimental for atlantic's taste but i'm trying to be optimistic. i personally don't think she's going to ever release taxi or bounce, i think she's over them at this point. bounce especially seems dead in the water, because after she performed it on kimmel and it didn't do well atlantic seems to have nailed that coffin shut. i haven't heard 1999 or shoes but maybe she'll do 1999 this month and then shoes/GNO next month or something like that. what if this release there's 3 songs and then the next one has 4 skseapfneipqhbpq
