    I doubt it's that deep.trigonometry just isn't simple, especially since the guy in TBD seemingly left her for another woman it ties in with the love-triangle metaphor

    I never thought of the guy in TBD leaving her for another woman. When she says "under the spell of her weather" or whatever she is referencing herself in the third person? Only because she follows it with "I got you where I want you now", as is, on was her spell.

     

    Idk if that makes sense. But I also think you're correct, it could be about her being left for another woman. :)

    What does she even mean by that, though?

    i kind of wonder if it's because of how Lana/Francesco's relationship and Lana/Barrie's relationships seemingly ....um.....overlapped?

     

    Partially because he told a paparazzo that they were still together when she was publicly seeing Francesco? or something like that. My memory could be wrong, but I thought it may be a reference to her seeing a new guy before she'd officially broken up w/ her bf/fiancee of a few years. idk

    I can recommend Joyce Carol Oates’ fictional biography on Norma Jean’s/M.Monroe’s life, it was very well written. It’s called “Blonde”.

    I looooooove Joyce Carol Oates!! She writes some truly chilling works. Also she hates trump hahaha

    We don't really know that Cactus is a Foo Fighters collab. They have performed the song at least two times since 1998.

     

    Unless LDR and Foo Fighters were registered as performers at the same time, (which we don't know), I would remain skeptical that a collab happened.
