    Oh my God I just found out about this artist

     

    I'm on my first listen of Preacher's Daughter and this is one of the best projects I have listened to this year - ever really.

    I agree this doesn't feel as cohesive but hey there's a reason they didn't make the cut. I will just keep MOTOMAMI as one album and the extra tracks as an EP

    My only fear is that I'll do as I always do with all her leads and overplay it before the album release and get too used to the song before giving it a full experience into a tracklist i.e. Glad He's Gone (although it's still one of my most played songs ever)

    She came to serve and also like I love how she's so meta with her status like she knows she's getting a lot of attention because of Tik Tok and that demographic is expecting her next sound/visual to be like super pop-y and that's what she came to serve like she didn't hold back

    So after a few listens, I think I like the second half better (also because I was listening to them as I was getting ready for work this morning) but the first half songs kinda have that same in-your-face beat.

     

    Like I said earlier, not her greatest lyrics but overall a good album!!!!

     

    PLUS THE VISUALS FOR VENUS FLY TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If they are bruises im suspecting it might represent her treatment by the media and society, how shes always being attacked and beat up by the tabloids. it could also be some shade against the idea that she glorifies domestic violence, although i dont think this would be a good thing to do because it's a sensitive topic.

    No I know they're not actual bruises I'm just saying why would she deliberately edit these in ? The original photo is actually really pretty. Idk, if that's an artistic choice I'm kinda sceptical about this one
