yeah we've known that for years that pre-uv she was working on way softer album that later was reworked into what we have now but the thing is this whole theory centers around this "tropico" title which is actually the one thing that we don't have that much proof of!

yeah i remember that she stated that paradise was supposed to be a full 2nd album but interscope was obsessed over doing re-releases at that time (like they did with many artists) and she agreed to that

it's a cute theory but it's still just a theory, you don't need to get so defensive... you're just making this into this "serious" scrapped project because it's mysterious and interesting but after all there's no official confirmation like it was said before, she may have just experimented with different words and vibes (as we know in her early career she often felt this aura around certain words and was trying to make something out of them) but there's still no actual evidence other than some doodles she wrote on a paper LOL like all of this could just be (and was) an early LDR3 tracklist that she wasn't sure of its title yet (that later turned into ultraviolence) and you're making this huge theory because fandoms are just obsessed over scrapped projects and "what could've been"s btw i love this whole theory don't get me wrong i just don't get why y'all being so sure about it

hi babes, i odered 2 of UO vinyls from polish' UMG store because i forgot to put a discount code in one of them and basically it allows you to pay for the order in 3 days and then cancels automatically this way i have one discounted order that i paid for and one for its regular price that will cancel itself 3 days from now and restock on the polish store (which now says all the stock is sold out) soooo if someone's patient enough to pay for this order and wait till it arrives to my address (it only ships to poland) i can then send it to them wherever they want, the thing is it's already around $50 for the order and then you'll probably have to pay around $20 more for shipping from poland so idk if it's that great of a deal but i still wanted to let y'all know in case it'd someone's only chance to get it! edit: ok i sold it!

is this german mediamarkt? if so i dont think it's reliable, they had the same caption under blue BTD for a long time and it never restocked i think it just says the same thing under some products when they're sold out and thats it

actually the repress is a gatefold when the original wasn't! also there probably will be a difference in the color (i hope not tho)

true but at the same time i think the main factor is in Lana not giving a single fuck, she probably saw UV becoming a cult classic and appreciated it more herself and gave them a green light for a repress idk if she has that much of a say in all of this but i see other interscope artists making anniversary editions of their albums so this is my guess

btw i had no idea they just could repress a limited varriant just like that, especially exclusive on their store - i was expecting there was some kind of arrangement for it to be exclusive to UO this opens so many doors actually for vinyl collectors like they can literally make a repress for pink NFR one day and many other varriants i hope the shades of blue and purple won't be far different from its original pressing (especially looking at how amazon ocean blvd turned out irl)

i think they know that they just dgaf uv probably got repressed bc it gained a lot of popularity over last years and there wasn't any colored varriant available anywhere i wouldn't expect HM UO getting repressed although it'd be a nice surprise ngl
