I hope Charli is able to do Sucker levels of promo for this album, or better. Talkshows/performances, TV spots, hopefully a single or two sent to radio... the misc. fashion stuff... maybe the Met Gala stuff was preliminary buzz and publicity, and it was mentioned it was her “first appearance” there, so hopefully she has more appearances there in the future ya know? Atlantic needs to come through here. Like, you guys gave the ALBUM (and all that the word entails, right?) the green light, now be THERE for Charles! Catapult our queen to superstardom! lol

A.G. rivals SOPHIE for me, so this is great to know.

One of my favorite bands... Their use of electronics and the emotion and energy in their music and the way it all blends together is incredible. Some of their songs really give you that feeling where it's like they're "taking you somewhere else" and for me personally, really strike a deep chord... in a way where I would say that they've probably made some of my all-time favorite music. Last I heard from them, they were rebuilding the band after a couple of original backing members left... so hopefully they have something in the works now. A couple of favorites from their previous album...

Florida. It's honestly an awful state for concerts in general lol, so I'm not really surprised.

Remember when Hanging Around featured Rivers Cuomo and it didn’t even really feel like a feature? Maybe some of the features are more like that... Also the Doing It feat. Rita wasn’t detracting too much from Charli’s presense either. Idk... it’s tough because I really just like Charli for Charli but she does features well too. Features are also a good mechanism to generate buzz and boost streams so if can feel fabricated too, and I hope it just really doesn’t feel that way. It feels like the label is kinda trying to dictate what Charli is, and I hope that doesn’t come across in the music. The important thing is that Charli feels good about it though I guess.

Ahh I have a feeling that Charles is really coming for us this time! Also, does anyone get the feeling that she’s been really working at this album for a long time? Obviously she kinda has, with the OG XCX3 draft and stuff, but she makes it sound like she’s kinda just whipped an album together in the last couple of months. I feel like she’s really been working on these songs and the tracklisting for a while and that we’re in for something really good, idk why... I mean BIOYL is practically proof of that... it’s an older track and it wasn’t even on the initial draft so, yeah. Maybe she’s really put a lot of prolonged effort into this thing. Who knows?
