Pretty sure 1999 has jumped like 2 million views in only a couple/few days... it was kinda crawling up to 20 million not that long ago, last I looked it had gotten to around 20.3... Now it's well on its way to 23 million!

The entire Vroom Vroom, 2016 era of Charli is forever burned into my memory... It was the best. The hype surrounding the PC Music, future mega-pop album that never came... it was such and exciting time. That seamless transition into Burn Rubber too... some kind of perfection.

Yeah, a more incomplete(?) version of Taxi leaked with a different structure. It sounded like more of a demo than the Exchange/POP2 London version... it wasn’t as good.

That was kind of the past mindset I think... but she seems to really enjoy the sound she's found in recent years though. Wasn't there an interview where she said she wants to stick to the POP 2 sound? I know she's said stuff like she's finally making the music she's wanted to make for a long time...

She finally updated her Spotify playlist and included The 1975’s “I Like America...” I LOVE A QUEEN WITH GOOD TASTE! :toofunny: It’s been my favorite song since their album dropped.

Random XCX thought ... I was hanging with family and close family friends over the holidays and somehow Fancy came up in discussion. First off I was like wtf? lol but then everyone was like “ohh yeah, isn’t Gwen Stefani on that song??” So I set them straight, but... it seems like no matter what, people always think Gwen is on Fancy... I mean as good as that song was for Charli, she seems to not get the derserved recognition from it, on some level. And I’m sure this is a common thing. Before I knew anything about her, I thought Gwen sang the Fancy hook too lol, so it’s almost like this “blockade” between hearing the song and actually knowing who Charli is... idk. Kind of an unfortunate reality. I wouldn’t put it past people to even have the song in their library, or watch the video several times (and maybe after a little bit of time goes by) it’s like they’d hear it again and still probably default back to thinking it was Gwen... the average person hears something that sounds like someone else and the effort people put into actually finding out or knowing just stops there.

What I hear when I listen to Femmebot... “...I get what I want, like it or not! I’ll be your Xbooox!” Every single time...

Something about Superlove... it has a nostalgic vibe and idk why. I found it shortly after I bought Sucker on a whim, so maybe I just associate it with the time when I was a new fan.

Pink & White Deluxe: - Good Girls - Can You Hear Me - (3rd bonus track) Paradise solo version? Black & Blue Deluxe: - Down Like Woah - Waterfall - (3rd bonus track) Taxi? TKO? Something like that... the XCX World songs cannot go to waste dammit!! Let’s face it... we would all buy both Deluxe versions, which is exactly the point...
