but you probably realize that norman is pretty hated in here which is so odd since it will go down as her greatest album next to BTD:P which also is pretty hated in here Personally i’m a huge Janis Joplin stan so maybe that’s why i dislike this cover so much, although there are so many great versions so anyway i’m just very surprised how this forgettable rendition is so acclaimed in here (and only in here) -

those vocals are flat af and this whole performance is the definition of oversinging. Like how can you shit on Norman and then praise that -

decent cover but this song has so many legendary versions that its almost impossible to compete tbh. I hope that cover album has more obscure songs. -

Lana can’t sing live. It’s not only about the technique, her tone sounds awful as well. Her studio vocals are unparalleled but once she’s on that stage

fuck yeah, trash like tv in black and white, paris or queen of disaster being praised when we have diamonds like get drunk, trash magic or wayamaya

I consider myself to be a hardcore lana stan and since day 1 i felt like nfr is "lighter" and "brighter" than her pre l4l work. IDK why but it is what it is.
