The song he teased was Loved You Then and Now. I don’t think it has anything to do with the Euphoria song (which would be titled WCE). I was just dropping the info here and on LdR9’s thread

The Girls song (Honey) was a different case. The show was ending, one of her previous singles (Dancing on My Own) was proéminent in one of the most memorable moments of the series, so Lena Dunham asked Robyn for a new song, and she submitted a demo of an album that changed so many times of direction because of her personal loss of someone close to her. In the end, the version of Honey we heard in Girls was different from the final version that ended up on her last album. i don’t think we’ll suffer the same fate with the Euphoria song, if only because we have so many insiders to harass if she doesn’t release it right away 😂🤣

Anyways, it’s always a bit of a challenge to describe her songs. Like, to me, the title track to BB is ambiant like Heroin, but the emotions of the two songs are very different and even the production, but that’s the feeling I’m getting out of the two. Even BoZ - that nobody doubts he heard the songs - is not always « on point » IMO to describe them. I still remember he described LMLYLAW sounding a bit like Fine China: okay, maybe for the first few piano bars but that’s it. And he said he didn’t care that much for the last additions to BB when, to me, If You Lie Down With Me, sounds so fresh and is one of the highlights of the album. Lol i might be of the two stans that love DLMBM, but no way the lyrics fit Euphoria

Haha 😂 Yep, the more we « learn » about it, the less we have a clear idea of what it could sound like lol i have no idea what to expect of this song honestly, but since it’s for Euphoria, the lyrics won’t be « sunshine, lollipop, happiness ».

Alright if it sounds like DBJAG or FIILY, I’m so in. i Love how her side projects can bring us other vibes than her most recent albums or, at least, allow us to « revisit » some of our fave eras that won’t be back for a full album
