  1. The title is good and makes me curious. It’s nice she wants to do new things with her voice… but screaming will either be super iconic or horribly wrong, the way I see it.
  2. I have always been more excited about Yosemite (when it was unreleased) than I am for Dealer (still not sure about the whole screaming part, but a Zach song makes me less worried), but I wish it ends up on BB if only to switch the pace a little.
  3. She’ll have a boy that she’ll name Sean-Clay. She will despise him all of his life, send him to a boarding schooling in Vermont and she will become the new Patricia.
  4. Part of the reason why we lost interest in COCC is because of her announcement of RCS the day after Chemtrails was released. But I’ve listened to it today, from cover to cover, and it is a stunning piece of work for a quiet summer day at home. As of now, BB could be Chemtrails’s little sister, for a beautiful evening at the cabin.
  5. I had a tiny hope that maybe she we would be more present on Don’t Go Dark on Me since she helped write it…
  6. I know it’s not BB related, but I will have to lower my expectations on Lana’s part on the two Bleachers songs. I mean, can we even hear her?!!
  7. The silence and absence of news is tiring, but at least, nobody has any news about her, and therefore, when we get something from BoZ or Eclipse, it’s really coming. i follow a couple of “insider information accounts” on Twitter and plans for everyone change all the time. It must be super disappointing, to expect an announcement or a single at a precise date and nothing happens (ok, it could be worse for us, with her false dates never checking out )
  8. BB and TextBook remind me of Heroin: rich production but subtlety put. So a couple of songs like that? piano will surely be on many tracks, but some variations : WFWF has the beat that reminds me of Cherry, so I guess some “surprises” are to be expected ?!? realistically, I don’t know what to expect though. It’s such a mysterious project.
  9. I love the parallels you pointed out to Johnny Cash and some of her other songs I understand the message of ITTJ and it’s true it is heartbreaking. I like the verses and prechorus, but it’s the chorus I find a bit lacklustre, plus I come from a conservative and very religious family: the whole Jesus thing, you have to be very subversive to interest me in the slightest. White Dress speaks to me so much more, with a similar message, but I know it’s only personal. so, with being said, I am super curious for the number of tracks we’ll get on BB and the production of the new songs. I hope there is a bit more than piano.
  10. Thunder: YES!!! i Talk To Jesus: nope, not for me. The Contemporary Christian Reborn shit: nope. Not a bad song, but not an excellent song either.
  11. Lol that would be such a kick in the nuts to Jack: Thanks for the 4 records, but I’m releasing BB, which you were cut off, the same day
  12. I don’t love all of her collabs and prefer her solo, but something with Jesse, I’d be here for. I don’t think it’s coming on BB though… But just from the snippet, wouldn’t it be a very nice and catchy summer jam?!? Haha! Love your enthusiasm. July 30 is the Bleachers release, So I don’t expect anything around that date, but early August for single and preorder?
  13. The collab already exists, which makes it more frustrating. It was meant for his record, in 2017, but it ended being shelved. There’s a small snippet : https://youtube.com/shorts/76Ho8CkFPLQ?feature=share if only one of them could release the damn thing.
  14. I think the opposite: add a bit more beat with the second verse. The piano on WF WF sounds the most “synths” out of the three songs. Not that it’s that annoying, but still. I really like the beat, that reminds me of Cherry, in a way. It’s the second verse I find a tad too long, with its simple piano. Still love all the lyrics to the song though.
  15. I’m not sure about that ? I might be wrong, but I believe she met Dan at a party, got to talk to him about her album and they decided he would produce. It’s Paul Epworth (Adele’s main producer at the time) Interscope insisted she met, to give UV a more “single-y” song and he decided the album was already good and didn’t need one (although he helped with Black Beauty).

100% with you on that one. The songs will be probably sound better as a whole rather than taken separately.
  17. Damm! The first selfie is beautiful! ok, she likes to play mind games with us, with those hands and no face…
  18. My guess is it’s coming after Bleachers, for two reasons: 1- Lana might have a bigger than expected part on Don’t Go Dark On Me; 2- after so many contributions from Jack, it would be just human decency to have his project breathe a little on its own.
  19. I’m not sure about that. Lana did say in ONE interview she wanted Jack to go “wilder”, but I guess it meant bridges like Dance till We Die (which I don’t think is THAT Wild). Meanwhile, Jack said, in at least one interview and one tweet, she-they wanted stripped back. Sorry to disappoint, not that I am a Jack adorator, but I believe him More than I believe her Plus it’s getting confusing which songs were meant for what project…
  20. Oh I am manifesting that Lana NEVER does the same merchandising sh*t Billie is doing for her album: are people really buying the CD booklet because she dropped white paint on it?!?! Didn’t look up the price of it, but geez ?
  21. I’m having the same feeling and reception I had with the three singles that I had with Violet: it’s easy to overlook them because of the minimalism of the production. But I accepted that BB won’t be that revenge / summer album I thought it would be, and with a more and more plausible fall release, if the rest of the album is as thoughtful as the three singles, it could be one of her most personal albums to date and a perfect fit for autumn.

Nothing personal, but I find it a little funny that so many “claimed” this song when she posted the tracklist and are now shitting all over it (and hey, it happens all the time, I really liked the Dance Till We Die title on Chemtrails and it’s really not my fave out of the bunch. I just hope Oceanic Feeling serves)
