Well, it’s not an easy task, to be a female singer - composer, in a male-dominated industry, where girls are asked all the time to do what a man thinks is right for a song. Jack is one of the few that isn’t like that and all the girls he worked with said he was easy-going. I guess that’s why he is behind every “popish” female act these days. But I must admit that the most original album he put out this year was Daddy’s Home.

It’s a simple song but I really like it. But so far, the album is really a mix of Norman and Chemtrails with a mix of Lorde. Not that it’s a bad thing since I love the Jack albums, just not super original, maybe? At least, Lana won’t be the one that will receive the hate for recycling Jack melodies

Our best chance of hearing a new Lana track soon is on the Bleachers album, i’m afraid I’m feeling exactly the same about the excitement for this album. A tidbit of info every three weeks is really getting painful.

Eclipse said it was among his faves. And it’s pretty much all we know (at least from what I read). it’s safe to guess that at almost 7 minutes, there’s got to be some progression in the song - long intro or outro.

Calm down, Jack haters. Lana is credited as a songwriter on two songs on the Bleachers album. Maybe this counts as a “project”. and let’s not forget Behind the Iron Gates.

I thought they were talking about Norman, Chemtrails, both audiobooks. There are still some songs they recorded together, but I don’t think it means that many more complete albums are on the way…

I still remember when she first started teasing the title track on her IG: I was on a trip to California, UV was my soundtrack, and one evening, while getting back to the hotel for the night, I saw her post, with the chorus, the tigers, the hypnotizing strings the title track is synonymous to mysterious hot summer nights still to that day. And the rollout for this album was THE most perfect one she has ever done.

My prediction : nothing will happen before August, but after that, it’s going to a bit more busy, with the single and preorder.

Well, every time Ben or Ed gives us some sort of “hint or update”, it comes through. It’s HER we can’t trust if she isn’t done and lingers on, then maybe it won’t happen in 2021, but I’d be surprised. Besides, anything under a year between the lead singles and release will be better than the NFR era

Like I said, it’s not an absolute guaranty, especially if she is still not done, but I can’t remember any update of any sort during the NFR era, but her managers did say we’d get new music from her before end of last year for the Chemtrails era (which was true, though not a complete album).

We’re getting very much ahead of ourselves. Ben or Ed (can’t remember which one) said we’d get the album before end of year. Does it mean it’s a certainty? Not at all, but his caption makes me believe the album was talked about with Lana and it should be out before or in December.

?‍♂️ the fact that it was supposedly included on the New Music playlist from Apple Music but didn’t show up looks a lot like what happened with White Dress, and I guess her plans have changed from initial release.

It’s true that nothing sounds revolutionary, but this album will probably be the “summer” record I wanted when Blue Banisters was called RCS. I think Lorde’ s LP will probably sound better as a whole, with tracks sounding a bit “off” taken separately.

It’s a very weird rollout, very similar to Lana’s recent albums, except that Lana decided to do so a little further down the road in her career. I mean, after four years, we all expected something a bit more “intense” from Lorde, at least for promo and singles if some aren’t big fans of the “new sound”.

I like to wander on Lanapedia from time to time, and a couple of possible titles seem to be always returning to the tracklist : Took Me By Surprise, Sand Castles… and a new one just appeared recently (Oklahoma?!?)… I know that pretty much anyone can edit Lanapedia, but has anyone got any info on those songs?!?

This cycle is mild torture : a post album-related / release every 20-ish days… first week is exciting, the second one is okay but entering the third one without news is just so dull, boring and so frustrating
