I’ve been thinking for some time it wouldn’t be out on July 4, but BoZ’s post makes me think that maybe it’s happening after all. but if it doesn’t, I wouldn’t be mad at all. Chemtrails is still new, the three singles are growing on me with each listen, and she will have some sort of post if not preorder that could drop anyway now between today and July 4. It’s all good. He did say they were.

Many signs tend to point on news real soon. The birthday posts, the BoZ post (he did say last time, before the singles, that the era was beginning in the next two weeks and we are now two weeks and half before July 4, with hints of the tracklist), she reappeared online, her birthday is coming (ok, that one is always a week argument, But still).

I agree with you for the most parts, but Taylor is a class on her own. She is the number female singer and she can pull out any release she wants because she does so well with streaming alone (even her rereleases do well). Lana does good on the long run, rather than on week 1, plus with vinyls on week 1. Anyways, as a fan that doesn’t care that much for vinyls on week 1, I hope we do get the record on July 4 on streaming and preorder the damn physical bundles for later.

Lol i wouldn’t want them to be removed from platforms, but we’ll have to see if they stil fit on the new album (almost certain they will). Those three really form a small EP (I call them The Trauma EP lol), which could transition into the next album. But it won’t probably happen. this morning, I was listening to them although they are good, I can’t seem them beginning the album. All of her albums (and almost all the albums I know) have a certain structure to the first 3 tracks: - track 1: immersion into the universe of the album, buildup: - track 2: something a bit different, a bit more subtle but as strong as track 1; - track 3: fiery bop - ish or something closer to track 1. the three tracks are excellent, but clearly don’t sound tracks 1 to 3 to me. Although I know I haven’t heard the rest of the record

No, According to BoZ. He spilled on ATRL, telling us to expect another name change, and that she tossed aside many tracks for new ones. We don’t know which ones, except for Loved You Then and Now (which has the Rock Candy Sweet line). He doesn’t have a release date (he said maybe the album won’t be delayed, which makes us think that the only way for a July 4 release is if there are no vinyls planned for that date), and he didn’t hear the newer stuff.

I had a thought last night and maybe vinyls and CDs will come out later since her last THREE albums have leaked early because of her company sending them way too early. So maybe they « owe » her one on that matter and the album could be happening July 4, even if the album wasn’t completely done 90 days before release. team Delulu, here I come

During Chemtrails, five people got their hands on the songs while sent to mixing. BoZ seems to have heard early stuff from BB (or whatever how this album is called now) probably the same way. Eclipse has his info from some sort of website (I think?) for media and record companies before it gets published. BoZ’s post on ATRL could be that: he got his hands on interscope’s memo for the album to come (I’m not 100% sure of anything though, it’s what I gathered from what was posted and discussed here)

I was wondering, since Chemtrails was such a big hit with vinyl sales, if the whole « 90 days before release » rule still applied to her. I know it takes a certain amount of time to press vinyls but let’s speculate it takes, idk, 45 days, maybe she could put her vinyls « first » for pressing since she is a bestseller?

I loved the title for a song, but wasn’t sure for the whole album. The narrative is excellent on the song, so if it fitted the whole album, I was okay with it. I thought it was very pretty next to Chemtrails Over the Country Club. But I guess we’re back to square one with that

I’m just manifesting I’m imagining the girl that worked on the fonts, receiving yet another email from Lana saying the title changed again. « Gurl, wtf?!? Make up your damn mind! »

Mike Dean did say there was at least one song on the album but « more work to come in the future ». I really think the new songs done together are good enough for release and change of album name (the 7 min song he posted a pic of is living rent-free in my head )

He didn’t confirm it. He said we might avoid the delay… which is only possible if Interscope doesn’t want vinyls on release day.

I wanted to hear RCS so bad in the passed days since I thought it would be another TJF/WHF moment. So the song got scrapped from two albums… Dont know how I feel about that. She wanted to name the album about that line so it has to be good… but it got tossed aside from two records… What is the truth? love that we might get a streaming only album in July though
