I just love how the newest members here shine a much-needed positive light on LFL i couldn’t take it anymore, with the complaints that it was a shit stain of an album when I love it so much and connected so much to it. Regarding BB, 13-14 tracks would be a bliss... but if 16 tracks make the album cohesive, I’m on board!

It sure is a career highlight. The piano is as haunting as the one in Video Games.

I never know where to put what songs where... Like I would never have placed hope as the closer to NFR... But right now, I see the three songs we got in the beginning of the album, which would tell the story of her quarantine / pandemic life : the three singles forming a big réflexion while on pause and the second half being lighter because she found happiness...

If you listen carefully to Text Book and Wildflower, there are some light “country-ish” elements in the production. Just cute enough to not dwelve entirely into that genre. I’d be on board for a Mike Dean country-psychedelia grower, a bit like Madonna did with Don’t Tell Me (since I saw that he was mastering a 7-min track on his IG, I want that song to be for Lana and be something soaring )

Haha the UV box set is the one I like the least of all her box sets... Didn’t think it offered that much if you bought the UO vinyl... But I hope, like you do, that there’s gonna be a cute bundle for this album (Chemtrails’s box set was better in real than in photographs). I really like the LFL box set, but a BB box set would need to have a professional photoshoot for it to exist, because ten lithographs of that damn selfie just won’t do it

When Thunder leaked last year, there was a caption that Under My Skin would be next to leak from them. Maybe this is really it?!?

This has always been my question too!!!! I mean, the Grammy’s were long done, we were all in the middle of a pandemic, she hadn’t released anything, hadn’t done any interview... When I saw that post, I thought that it was true, what she said, but not her best writing, and I was sure I had missed some news or critic regarding her, for her to snap back like that... anyways... She’s been posting album-related news every three weeks since the beginning of 2021... Do we expect anything sooner than mid-June?

Text Book being the most streamed of the three is really surprising. I find it’s the least « accessible » of the 3.

I know!!! That and diorleak said the album is 100% coming July 4... I mean, I go out for an hour and all Twitter hell breaks loose.

Those three songs are so personal, each one show a different side of her vulnerability... in Text Book, when she says « And I saw you saw who I am » As if she wasn’t « enough » for him... And that promise, in Wildflower Wildfire, to not burn everything down, to control your own shit to give this blooming relationship a chance Since this album seems like the most personal one she ever put out, maybe the booklet could be a collection of her selfies, iPhone pictures of her and her family/friends (if she sticks with the selfie cover)?!?

I can’t wait now to see what she has planned for the next weeks / months... The next single will give us more indications of the overall sound of BB, if there are some songs with bigger production and - or lighter tone.

If it was the case, I’d be here for it. Ever since the RCS announcement and « cover » I thought it was a better cover than Chemtrails honestly. It’s the filters she used for the singles’ covers that are ugly. I’m still hoping for a professional shot for the real cover but if it’s not the case, I won’t mind that much.

I think that something from her label / distributor is always more reliable than a major publication, because they now do write a lot of their articles based on social media posts from the artists themselves. And in Lana’s case... I find interesting that Universal is posting about that date... It gives me hope that maybe it could still happen July 4.

Grenadine quarantine seems a bit short for a song. If this is the end..., at 5 min, could be a song.

Maybe that bop will be her Bleachers collab (if she is doing more than back vocals)? no matter what song it could be, this era could benefit from a summer bop à la Doin Time or High By The Beach.
