Apparently, the other scrapped track from CoCc heard by the « five lucky gays » doesn’t exist. The only leftover track they heard is Dealer, if the rumours are true.

my mind right now: 1- if Dealer is RCS / LyTAN: it must be a very strong track, if she wanted to name the album based on that song 2- it’s not because LYTAN was at some point track 8 that it means it’s Dealer. 3- on the other hand, it would make sense that BoZ and other insiders heard it, since it was Dealer from Chemtrails. lana, we need another post à la WHF: TJF to clarify things (how would that go? Loved You Then and Now : Rock Candy Sweet : Dealer?)

Lol everyone is acting as if she never had any piano before working with Jack... Is This Happiness, Fine China, White Mustang, Summer Bummer and so many more all have piano, it’s just that they are supported by other layers of production. Even Cinnamon Girl has piano at its core and yet, it’s not what we remember. i am here for piano and synths!!!

We love her livestreams and I always love when she is playing with a musician or two (like she did at Blake’s birthday, a couple of years ago). I don’t know why she doesn’t do a private livestream concert : it sure wouldn’t be as a stressful as a regular one. It would be so fantastic.

What if BB is not the first single from the album we’re getting? miss Del Rey has a way of surprising us by not releasing the first teased song from an album... Imagine a raging single about being pissed, no MV, just in time for summer... on the other hand, BoZ knows BB’s length and heard it, just like he did with LMLYLAW (i wonder to what extent he heard this album or if it’s just a single. And if he did: how did this happen? It seems she is still mixing songs with Mike. Do they send them separately God-knows-where?)

To me, COCC is the album created between Norman’s success and her Midwest tour, maybe beginning of the quarantine. I know we don’t have much information about when the songs were recorded, but part of the reason she was so nervous putting out Chemtrails was because there was no « second part » to this album: it’s all about being on pause and thinking about her career mostly. And I think it’s why she took so long with the tracklist: Dealer Might have been the beginning of this second part to Chemtrails, but there was no follow up to this song for long. that being said, At the moment, I see BB as the second part of COCC, the more raging yang. Maybe we’ll get songs about her quarantine also. It’s the fun part of prerelease : Our speculations.

Ok piano and fire? I am ready. Don’t act all scared because of piano: TJF has some sort of piano / synths and it works great. Most of LFL has piano as well, carried on with bigger production. Mike won’t keep it as simple as her she did with NFR or Chemtrails.

I usually prefer when she has an important place on the collab, otherwise I lose interest for the song so fast, unless I really love the other singer.

I really don’t!!! God, enough with the Jack hate! His work with her might be uneven sometimes, but he helped create some of the best songs of her career. Is it me or it’s just here that Jack is hated as much?

I think the first single will come very soon. But she could have a six-month prerelease. not that I want that, but it could be and would be standard practice in music. RCS sounded super summery, but since she changed the title, maybe it could be released any time I guess.

I dreamed she was releasing BB as a single... and it was a mess!! The snippet we had heard was a demo and the synths weren’t as ambiant... and then the production went all over the place, having twists and turns but not very harmonious. and her voice was rushing to get through the shifts and was failing

It really depends if the album is done and submitted to vinyl plants at this point. If it’s done or near completion, a late summer album is still possible. If it’s true, she batter have a predominant place on the collab. If she just mumbles three sentences in the background, it’s gonna be so disappointing.

I also remember, in her Interview magazine, that she wanted more stripped back on the songs. She probably wanted both, knowing her lol. I really believe she is the one in command when it comes to the final sound of an album. Isn’t Jack the main producer on St.Vincent album? Which has a very « big sound ». What if, by Wanting Jack to go bigger, she was mistaken with the project she is working on right now and not Chemtrails?!? that would be so her.
