We are incredibly lucky indeed. Lady Gaga will release her 7th album next year and she’s been around longer than Lana. I do get the complaints about her false dates and vague statements, they are valid, but in the end, I have to remind myself that we do get albums very often, compared to other fanbases (I think it’s only the Swifties who get more releases than we do, honestly).

This is the only thing I’d want to know for sure, whether coming from her (not very realistic, I know) or from an insider. It would help tremendously with the possible timeline / what to expect and when. I think the album is done, I sure hope so of two singles are still planned for the end of the year… but well, how it goes.

Michael was also grooming the parents, blinding them to the abuse to come by earning their trust. I do have another celebrity in mind who got in the business when she was barely out of her childhood… and I suspect her « abuser » used a similar technique with her parents as Michael’s. Depends what someone’s definition of privacy is. 100% privacy is impossible. But social media is probably the number 1 source of exposure we have to think about. We do leave lots of crumb trails behind even if we don’t want to. The Netflix series You season 1 was genius in that regard : the way Joe is able to piece together pretty much all of Gwen’s life by simply looking at what is out there made me rethink a thing or two about what we post online. I do have a couple of social media apps and I don’t post a lot about myself, but I sometimes wonder if it’s really such a « plus » in my life anymore. As a celebrity, I can’t imagine how hell it could be. The bigots of this world are now screaming louder than before, borderline harassing celebs. I can’t imagine living this daily

I wouldn’t be so sure. Not the album by the end of the year, but if some songs are reworked, the chances that the songs felt like « strong demos », they could be reworked a bit. I don’t think she scrapped the og tracklist for new songs.

I do hope we get, in the next weeks, when her honeymoon is over, some « timeline » of things to come. I’d take a cute livestream like the Sept 1 one she did in the COCC era, when she was filming the MV. Wasn’t exactly precise but we knew it had been delayed a bit. A preorder would be a dream but I’m not exactly expecting that for the first single.

I agree with you that the vibes are off this time around. I’ll probably be eating my words when we finally get to hear the album or singles from it but at the moment, I’m a bit scared it’s going to be mid And I know we heard nothing of it, but based on the vibes alone, this is what I’m feeling

For a long time, I was sure we wouldn’t get the album in September but a lead single wasn’t out of the question, although my hopes were down to almost zero after that interview… But we kinda know now one of the reasons for Lasso’s delay. And quite frankly, girl has the right to be happy, no matter how impatient I am for new music.
