About Candy Necklace: I think her and Jon probably recorded a few songs, and she was probably indecisive about which track to put on the record. Rosemead, BoZ, and Kintsugi have all talked about the song, so I don't think it was too last minute

and we know Margaret is the last one recorded, if I had to make a guess, I would say that Taco Truck x VB, Peppers, and Sweet would probably indicate where she's going next

I remember reading her album thank you note and I think we decided on Ocean Blvd, Fingertips, The Grants, and Let the Light In were the first recorded songs!

Did we ever get confirmation that Candy Necklace was added late?

I know not many people agree with this, but I wonder how much she thought about the vinyl sides with arranging this album's tracklist; I think it's super coincidental that the first four are pretty grand and epic sounding, the next four seem to be darker and more eerie, then a handful of four sweeping and emotionally heavy songs, and then four bops. I think it would be interesting to know how she ordered the tracklist.
