So about that remix album and the other rumoured albums/projects...?

I know we have 2(?) versions of good girls, one has rougher sounding vocals and one kind of sounds like it’s mixed weird/got white noise. Was there ever a final version or was it just not completely mixed by the time the album leaked? If anybody knows?

I still think Charli has insanely beautiful lyrics + lyrics with substance since being involved with PC/having a PC influence. See: white roses, paradise, backseat, Porsche, even unlock its lyrics are pretty cute and beautiful to read through and you can tell from her choice of words/vocabulary that it’s the same artist who worked on and wrote TR. I agree it’s always exciting seeing Charli switch up her sound but I feel like she’s said a few times now that she’s finally making music she’s been wanting to make, (VV onwards) (pop 2 specifically). Whether that means she sticks to that similar sound for now or it matures somehow and evolves who knows, it does seem like she’s comfortable and happy feeling like she’s finally found ‘her sound’.

She has 11 singles.. and a Halloween EP, not even a full album.. collabed with 3/4 people and worked with how many producers? Has POC in her heart to break music video, did a interview video thing with Lizzo... there’s plenty of time to, and I very much doubt she has any issue with collabing with black creatives. As for sounds she’s using/borrowing from, not entirely sure what you mean... she’s literally white girl dance pop or white girl pop ballad.

Not killforlove thinking kim is somehow culturally appropriating... and over a really generic bridge... appropriating sngnsngnf... girl you tried that in the GOFTY thread saying that PC music appropriate Queer POC/ball culture. give it a rest.

1 2 3 dayz up is a bop but I kinda wish the instrumental during the verses slapped just a little harder, its probably because I’m just used to replaying the live recordings fnsngndn

I know 1999 is still doing pretty well but it’d be amazing if Charli could drop a new single this summer and promote it alongside the (hopefully) upcoming album at some of these festivals she’s booked at

Anyways if Charli is recording new music specifically for the album now when do we think the next single/announcement for the actual album will be... i’m hoping it’s a good summer single or something

Off topic but to continue: I don't really get the ball culture/vogueing vibe from PC music? Or that they are inherently 'queer'/pandering... just that their fan base mostly is. Unless There are certain performances/shows that have taken place that I haven't seen? I feel like I get a more awkward nerdy white kids vibes who enjoy making music/art from them, I've never thought of them as super Queer/ball culture/camp other than a few select tracks from them (that edge on camp) and I've never got that vibe from their visuals either.

Yeah it was the bridge that she said needed work because it was something like 'party. We just wanna party. We just wanna. We just wanna party' a few times or something like that, I do like the overall song being repetitive cause it is super catchy but I did get what she meant by the bridge needing more work! I hope the song sees a release cause the instrumental slaps

She didn't play WM for the group I was in but someone else who was there did say she played it for them! (And focus which she didn't play for us). She played party party for our group so idk if playing it at the m&g means anything. ): I hope it does because party party was actually rlly good!!

Taxi was considered for release at one point though wasn't it? It was part of the XCX world draft tracklist. Edit: just saw it was fbnadbsns, but yeah I get it's annoying asking and hounding charli to release these tracks and she should be able to move on. But even then since the leaks she's hardly been harassed about them as much so with an official release it'd give her closure too, I don't think people are as hyped and as hungry to harass her constantly about other songs anyway so once taxi is out (like after releasing NA/GNO) for sure all the tweets and messages asking her aboutnit will go. I think most artists have to deal with fans asking for songs/releases of demos sometimes anyway, I'm grateful as a fan that charli tries her best to please her fan base anyway

Didn't they shoot the MV a while back already? Charli and Troye both posted about a secret shoot so Im going to assume (and hope) the MV isn't going to come an entire month after the song like 5ITM and sooner rather

I've legit just made a playlist on Spotify with 1999/NA/Focus/GNO/5ITM on loop and just left it playing on my laptop all day with headphones in djskdnsjs hopefully it all counts

If the album is comprised of tracks like 1999 I can 100% see Come to my party fitting in perfectly
