that’s a really depressing thought honestly

this is really cool!

i’ve been thinking about a couple of posts i made earlier, i seemed to take a relaxed, and honestly, irresponsible position regarding the possibility of leaks because of this, and i shouldn’t have done that, lana is probably feeling very scared, violated, upset, and probably feels very crushed and hopeless because it’s become such a problem to the point where her entire, 200-page book was stolen and she may never get back that hard work and effort that she poured her heart into i shouldn’t be saying anything regarding potential leaks or acting like i don’t care and will listen anyway because right now is just simply not the right time, this post reminded me of that and i wanted to say something and clarify and apologize for carrying that attitude at any degree, we shouldn’t be thinking about the potential songs that could come out of this i feel like it would be ideal if nothing leaked for a good while, even if it’s some old 2009 demos, or old photos, we just need to respect lana and perhaps re-evaluate how we thinking about these particular things, especially since majority of new/leaked material are obtained shadily, it isn’t often that things are just randomly found online, and we have so much material already, we’ve gotta be grateful for what we already have

i wouldn’t listen to anything that’s obviously intended for official release (i haven’t listened to snow on the beach) and i certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to view any personal family footage if that is to ever come out, but i don’t see why i couldn’t listen to a random leak from 2012 and save it to my library… which i actually can’t even do that right now because my laptop finally died, but people here all of the sudden acting like they’re above all leaks is really silly to me

the rest of the midnights album has leaked, if this were a demo, we’d have the “final” by now

the camcorder footage contained footage of her family and friends that she wanted to use for a project

there must be a reason why she’s bringing it up right now, though, some people think she’s being blackmailed

lol probably not, it’s probably just some random low-life who gets a kick out of grossing people out, but there is a strange occurrence of things happening after scat attacks, but it’s usually good things lol

do you mean the scat attack? because if so, that’s been happening for eight years at this point it’s nothing out of the ordinary lol

when did she say that lizzy leaks were okay? i’ve never heard of her saying that before

also it’s not going to stop discussion (or, alternatively, make it a lot more difficult which would be frustrating) everyone knows where to find leaks anyway, i just think there should be a time restriction for now, leaking a 2021 studio track is not the same as leaking a 2008 laptop demo

i would even say that 2019 and 2020 is risky, that was chemtrails era, it really wasn’t that long ago and who knows if that material could still be used i feel like i, or maybe, we should’ve had better judgement with ocean boulevard and fingertips, they’re so recent

i do believe that ben is aware because when that song had leaked elle made a thread about it telling us not to discuss it only a couple hours after

it’s hard to say where every individual leak/snippet comes from, i don’t believe a lot of the recent snippets that seemed to be leaked continuously day-by-day were from the same source as fingertips and ocean boulevard, the most recent snippets seem to be less recent, but we can’t know for sure if they weren’t from this event, it wouldn’t be hard to believe that she would just have random old tracks on her personal hard-drives, but if anything were to leak, we may not know where it originated from

considering the fact that they got their way into her phone, it’s likely they know exactly who she is and they want access to her personal material

it’s from 2015 so possibly not, and we’ve known about it for a couple of years

they have access to her PHONE? she needs to get law enforcement involved, that’s a ridiculous level of hacking/invasion of privacy, that just seems so terrifying and even dangerous

she’s possibly talking about the influx of snippets we’ve had recently, especially the ones which seem recent it’s possible that ben and ed keep track of this stuff and that’s how she knows, i can’t imagine she spends all of time online figuring out what’s out there

makes me wonder if that country roads snippet is also a part of this, i’m glad we decided not to allow any snippets of that here, i just felt like it would’ve been risky

should i remove the ocean boulevard snippet out of my thread just to be respectful? it seems evident that might’ve been from this robbery idk what we’re gonna do though if it leaks

i wonder what she means by “personal pics” it doesn’t seem like much photos have been leaking lately except for outtakes which people likely already had?
