  1. Y’all that Jam City song does NOT sound like Charli

is it even confirmed to be charli’s song? sounds nothing like her imo

Jam City collab is not confirmed to be her, and that's the only clip of it that exists afaik. We actually dont even know who produced it either, but that video is from a Jam City DJ set which is why it's named that

HOWEVER I choose to believe it's her because to me it sounds sooo much like her. Just listen to the way she says "yeah" in that clip. I mean it's a phone recording so it's honestly hard to tell either way but it screams charli to me...like Party Party said, whether or not it's actually her, it's a serious bop

  2. OKAY I’m finna hand out some BANS for u tasteless troglodytes who have the NERVE to call Babygirl the worst song on N1A???? Like are y’all really deaf??????? Babygirl is a MAGICAL trip to the BEACH in a NOSTALGIC sports car from the 90s!!!!!! WITH A COWBELL!!!!!! ONLY THE BEST POP SONGS FEATURE THE COWBELL, THE PUREST POP INSTRUMENT OF ALL.

lmao this is so true, I live for that cowbell in the babygirl beat

  3. just imagine how a music video for backseat would look. i literally can see charli and carly in the backseat and as the drop comes after the bridge the whole video just turns into an actual car TRIP.

I always imagine the music video to Lucky would be her as a robot literally just singing and crying while crouched down in a small corner in a dark room and the only light is like a glow from her skin ughhhh she could have really done that!!

I can totally imagine both of these, your minds! Ive also always imagined a Track 10 video with charli as a robot, or like a robot angel in heaven, and she's like radiating bright blue/purple light and has laser eyes lol

god I wish so bad that we had gotten Pop 2 videos . In a perfect world Pop 2 wouldve been a visual album

  4. I wanna say I read an interview where charli said she initially met uffie at a party at charli's house in LA which eventually led to the collab...can someone corroborate? or correct me if I'm wrong

  5. Its amazing how the meaning of BIOYL changes as Track 10. Like in BIOYL "Every time you get too close I run away, and every time you say those words I don't know what to say, back to the beginning I wish that I can change" is just like a cute little pre-chorus but in Tack 10 its like........so sad

That's so true, I love that. The way it's so minimalist and the chord changes are different from BIOYL too, it really changes the mood of that part

  6. 1999 is not dancehall what

its not dancehall but I can see what b4u is saying...it's like it fits in with this certain wave of dancehall-influenced pop music. Something about the vibe/atmosphere of the song, idk hard to explain. I can see why they put the push behind this one as a big single because sonically its much closer to the current gp trends than her other recent singles.

tho at the same time it still sounds SO charli, like I don't think she's compromised any of her individual style by shifting gears to a slightly more mainstream sound

  7. Believe originally came out on Oct 19 1998. Which means this Oct 19 is the 20-year anniversary, and it's a Friday....Imagine if she dropped her cover then

I dont think it's likely though tbh, I bet it was just a demo she recorded for fun

  8. is it just me or does the slime look unfinished? it doesn't look as polished as the other covers

yeah I was thinking this too, but I kinda like it -- it has this dated 90s CGI look to it that fits perfectly with 1999 imo
