Thanks for this! I actually think her decision to cut the verse actually made sense given the flow and structure of the song, but I too am all about leaving songs in tact as far as verses go. I also really love the lyrics of the cut verse.

I don't think that exists? IFU was the one that she openly stated had a scrapped verse.

Posted my extended mix of “Claws” with an alternative outro on YT finally if anyone wants to listen.

3 days!!! I am so unbelievably excited for this. I will say that looking at some of the Twitter comments (and even some posts here) that some Angels stay doing the most with respect to their demands on Charli, despite the fact that she has consistently fed and connected to her fans more than 99% of other pop artists. TBH we are an extremely entitled and greedy fan base compared to many others and it's a wonder that Charli hasn't just hung it up at points given how some fans have reacted to and hounded her for one reason or another on social media. I have personally thoroughly enjoyed the HIFN online journey she has brought us on and really feel lucky that I stan an artist who craves creativity and loves sharing her craft with the fans. I have also really appreciated her vulnerability that she has let shine through during the process because that is such a risky thing to do in this era of social media/online standom. All said and done, I do think this album is going to be fantastic, but even if it isn't her best, what she has done for fans this era is just stunning.

Finally finished my extended mix of "Claws" that gets rid of the jarring ending and gives it slightly more resolution. EDIT: Corrected an error and reuploaded HERE, as a track was left in there that shouldn't have been. I am def using this from now on.

Some of y'all's gut reactions are just too much. Let some of this shit simmer. Also, at the end of the day, this project is really fucking monumental. It is legit one of the most intimate experiences I have observed with respect to an artist putting themselves out there creatively and personally. Given this timeline, this material has been ace. And lbr, this "abbreviated timeline" isn't as much of a factor in any of this as some of y'all are making it out to be given that Pop 2 was recorded quickly as well. She has these skills and what she is turning out based on the released tracks and snippets is arguably far more interesting than what many other pop artists out there are doing. I for one am just super grateful for and fascinated by this entire project and process. Charli is really putting her skills on display and some of y'all seem to be sleeping on that fact. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OK I actually like this a lot more than I thought I would and the short length suits this one WAY more than it did "Claws" for me. I think in the context of the album, this is gonna be even more solid too.

"If I Cried" being resang at the pitched up level will sound lovely. It's a nice contrast to the other more intense bops on the album so far. Also, she is really loving "Anthems" so I would be shocked if it wasn't included. I am bummed about a verse being cut from "I Finally Understand" though. "Claws" was already so short and I know she likes short songs, but the verse was cute.

If she doesn't include "Pink Diamond" I will unstan. It fucking SLAPS.

This. I do think some of the tracks she has prominently featured will ultimately be included, but I definitely did not read that post as "these songs are being mixed." The wording definitely did not suggest that. In any case, I really hope she relaxes this 10-track thing, as she has hinted that she may ultimately include more tracks.

I hope she releases the "Claws" stems and someone makes an extended mix where that beat switch explodes into another chorus. It's so beautiful and feels like it was about to take the song in a totally different direction so it's a shame that it ends so soon after that.
