Hi everyone! As promised, I'm getting new themes ready for you all asap. I just finished coding in a new theme for 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass' You can switch to the new theme by scrolling to the very bottom of the site, selecting 'Theme' and then selecting 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass' Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the theme, or if you notice any issues with it! I can make tweaks to it as needed. Hope you all enjoy the first new theme since 2017 lol. I'll also work on creating and coding in new themes for NFR & COTCC after its release, and then of course creating some past-era themes for our Supporters 2.0 group! x Preview:

Well, good news about the old likes, guys! As the site has continued to reindex, the prior likes have started to come back. We still have a long way to go with reindexing everything, but if you poke into a few of the older threads, the previous likes are now viewable for the posts that have finished indexing reputation points. & @evilentity it looks like all your old formatting has begun to fix itself as well, just had to give the site a little time to reindex and rebuild I suppose! x

It's essentially just the existing LanaBoards rules, which can be found here

Male/Female/Not Telling have been there forever, but I added some more gender choices a few months ago. Good idea! I've just added the option to enter one's preferred pronouns within the Profile Fields x

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's an option to separate the different settings, and they're all grouped into one Status Update Notifications setting. This is something that looks to be out of my control, and I apologise! x There's two quick ways to do this - the first is to find the Recent Status Updates box on the homepage (on the right side of the page on Desktop, or at the bottom under the Forums list on Mobile) and you'll see a textbox that says "What's on your mind?" where you can enter your update. The second way to do this is by viewing your Profile, and under the Activity tab (which automatically loads upon viewing your profile) you can enter your status in the text box that lists "Write a public message on your own feed" x

I can’t believe this reply is real I love her x

Good afternoon, everyone! I'm glad a lot of you have been enjoying exploring the new update. It's the beginning of a new era! I thought I'd answer some questions that were left while I was asleep to the best that I can - again, I'm still learning some things along with the rest of you all! If there's any other questions, feel free to leave them below & I'll continue to provide answers x Yes! Before, you had to enter to manually enter in the [ img] link [/ img] coding for an image to embed. Now, it's a one button click! x The About Me is still on Profile pages! It's just the second tab. When immediately viewing a profile, the Activity tab is the default, but all your previous About Me info will be preserved in the About Me tab x There's an icon on the textbox toolbar with a magnifying glass over paper, and that will allow you to preview a post! x For now, it appears that to reply to a status on mobile, a user would click on "replies" and then scroll down to the bottom of a user's profile to the status & reply. The Status Update feature is a bit different in functionality than how it used to be especially on mobile (I believe before you weren't able to reply to statuses on mobile) but if I find a different way to reply on mobile, I will certainly let you know! x I'm nearly certain that the avatar size is something that can be adjusted, I just need to figure out how. This is one of the things at the top of my list to look into, especially because I miss the larger images too lol. You also should still be able to see who is online - there is a footer box when you scroll all the way down on the homepage that lists who is online. It is the similar in threads, for when you scroll down to the bottom of the thread, there is a footer box that lists who is browsing the thread x To my recollection, before the update it was also M/D/YYYY. There may have been a setting where users could choose how they preferred to see date formats if you do recall seeing a different format before, so I'll look into this as well x It's actually been gone for awhile! x I actually added them a few months ago! x This are things I don't have an answer for at the moment, but I've noted all of these down as things to look into ASAP. I'm still also learning what options are in my control vs. what aren't, so I will tag you all who asked these questions once I find a solution! x

“I can’t believe this was a year ago! With some of my favorite people at the county fair. I loved every minute of it. I never take one second for granted with my friends no matter where we are. But dang I can’t wait to get back to the county fair”

There may be a possibility that the likes may be back too.. the site isn't finished indexing, so we'll see where we're at once it is! As stated in the OP, background processes are still rebuilding, so some older content may not be viewable now, but will be once complete. All content that's been created will be automatically rebuilt! We're a pretty big site with lots of content, so this may take time. I'll update you all when everything is done indexing I'll look into this! --- I'm so glad you all are enjoying the mobile version! I luv it too, such an improvement from what it used to be x

Damn she really waited until the site was back online to post.. she loves us

Ah! I think I just figured this out. I created a "Status Updates" tab on the top menu. That should show all status updates (which are still indexing) Please let me know it's working! x

My spaghetti was very satisfying indeed, and I cannot wait to hibernate for the next 12+ hours lol! Thank you for all the love

You're very welcome! Yes, the feature to add different reactions (eg: shock, cry, etc.) is a possibility, but I'm not sure if I'll implement it. I have the concern that it would be too chaotic & confusing, and it may be best to just stick with the classic "like" feature for posts. Hmm, that is strange.. it looks like you've been assigned two Warning Points, yet only "1" is listed. Perhaps one was revoked at one point? In the end it doesn't matter as if we were to ever look at your Warning Points to take further option, we can still view all you've received. But that also shouldn't be a problem if you continue to stay outta trouble! x
-
Typically, Warning Points don't expire. No one else is able to see them except staff, and as long as you don't continue to rack them up (especially for the same infraction) you'll have nothing to worry about! Just always be on your best behaviour x
-
Skkkk yes, this is actually something I've been meaning to do for awhile x Let's take another look at this tomorrow - as stated in the OP, a lot of the site is still indexing. Just checked to see if anything about reputation points is there, and right now it's still at 0% (It's near the bottom of the list of all the things indexing. We're a huge site with lots of content!) Reindexing of posts is still being completed as well. We'll see where it's at tomorrow, because it looks like there's a chance they may reappear. If not, it's something I can definitely look into further, but there could be a chance the data could not be imported because of how outdated we are and how many features are different. Don't lose all hope yet, and I'll check back in about this once the rebuilding processes are complete x

No worries! As before, member titles "ranks" automatically change after a certain number of posts rather than reputation, unless you choose to have a custom member title, which can be done after 101 posts. Newbie - 0 Member - 100 Advanced Member - 1000 Expert Member - 5000
-
I believe some forums may have rank groups that coincide with reputation points, but our reputation system is remaining the same as before, through levels identified on a user's Profile page. Neutral - 0 Good - 50 Great - 100 Excellent - 500 Terrific - 1000 Outstanding - 2750 Supreme - 5000 Kween Supreme - 7500 Ultimate - 10000 Ultimate + -15000 Ultimate ++ - 20000 Ultimate +++ - 30000
-
Strange! Perhaps try going into your Profile settings and filling it out through there to see if that toggles it. If not, dismissing it will do no harm! x

The new mobile layout is something I'm especially psyched about - probably my personal favourite part of this upgrade! x

Unfortunate indeed, but the things you've noted are beyond my control. It's something I unfortunately cannot change, as these features (such as the source button) were built in to the new software upgrade from Invision, and some features were so outdated, the full data couldn't be transferred over (such as past likes). Remember, this is a major upgrade of about a decade. We were outdated for a very long time, & this update had to happen in order to be able to be hosted on a server more fit for the boards, which was vital to prevent the crashes we would experience during high traffic times. We could've been one crash away from permanent disaster - that's the road we were headed down if we didn't make a change! I know after such a long tenure on the forums you've become accustomed to the old layout as many of us have, but there will be some exciting new features to be added! My apologies for any disappointment! x

Spare me pls xx They've always been there, but perhaps they're now a bit more noticeable! They reflect the amount of posts you've made The more pips, the more posts! x Don't worry, eventually this should be available everywhere through every connection! It's because of the DNS adjustment I had to make for the server switch, but with time this will auto-fix x
