Showing up early morning should basically guarantee you barricade, no need to show up overnight. For my show in Alabama, only 10 people joined the line between the 12 hour span of 7pm the night before and 7am when we arrived. My friend and I were spots 22 & 23 in the queue and positioned ourselves on the right side of the barricade in front of the stairs. Generally, if you're within the first ~50 spots in line, you're essentially guaranteed barricade - you may be off far to the side if you're near the end of that number, but you'd at least have the option of a barricade spot if you want one. You could also have a really good center spot in the second row if you opt for that instead of being on the far side of a barricade. Though keep in mind, this all also depends on the venue and how large their barricade is x

Earlier tonight, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet fans while dining out at Hale House in Charleston, West Virginia.

The full speech was actually 5 minutes long! I recorded the whole thing from Rob’s livestream, but it’s sort of hard to hear her clearly. It’s quite echoey. I’m about to go to sleep, but I’ll give it a listen after I wake up and see how much if it I can transcribe (I work as a transcriptionist for my full-time job, so I’m used to trying to transcribe audio that can sometimes be low-quality or unclear lol) x

Billboard Brasil has reported that Lana Del Rey has been nominated for Best Alternative Artist at the 2023 MTV EMAs. The other nominees in the category are Blur, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and YUNGBLUD. Lana has previously won in the category in 2012 & 2015 and was nominated in 2014, 2017, and 2019. Public voting will begin soon, and the awards ceremony will take place in Paris, France on November 5th.

So for anyone concerned about queuing, a similar situation happened in Franklin. They wouldn’t allow queueing until 3pm but the parking lots opened at noon, so some people were waiting in their car until the queue began. By the time the queue started at 3, there were around 20 people ready to go who had been in their cars. I wasn’t there, this intel is just from a friend who attended both shows, so it might be a similar situation for this show. For my show in Alabama, they allowed people to queue from whenever they wanted (some people were there 3 days before the show) but they handed out numbered wristbands around noon on show day and then let everyone leave and come back before gates to line back up in order. That was a surprise because they didn’t announce that they were going to do bands until the day of, but I’m so thankful they did. I wish every venue did that bc the heat was starting to get unbearable x

The set started out the same as usual but after Ride, she did Margaret & Venice w Jack, and then she switched up the rest of the setlist because she wanted to make sure they didn’t cut the set short during any of “the good ones” as she said. The order of the rest was Video Games, Ocean Blvd, Ultraviolence, Born to Die, and Hope x

Anyway, finally made it back about a half hour ago… scarfed down a ton of Taco Bell.. now just letting it all soak in. This was a perfect final show (for the ones I’m attending this year.) She sounded incredible, the surprise songs with Jack were such a nice treat, and it was great to be out of the pit for once in a seat with an incredible view. I loved meeting everyone too. Wow what a night x

Literally a nightmare trying to go home… none of friends nor I drive so we Ubered here from DC, and had enough trouble getting an Uber the way here as it was… we’ve been sitting in a random Lidl parking lot for like 45min waiting for an Uber to accept our call and we finally got one for $270 to take us back to DC I knew this was going to happen though and I even ran a bus plan by my friends which they rejected… we’re all feelin sorry ‘bout it now.. Can’t say I didn’t tell them so though xx

IT WAS ALL MEEEEEEEEEE I lost my shit when I heard the first note bc I was so afraid she was going to cut it. Anyway screaming crying throwing up at this whole show fucking incredible and her vocals were perfect tonight x

Thankfully security ejected the aisle stragglers, but I will say this is the most chaotic festival I’ve ever attended even with VIP.. and this is my third of this year alone lol. Sooo excited for Lana to take the stage though, any minute now!! Xx

Actually some random girl a few chairs over from me lent me hers, but then she got up and went to a different aisle and idk where, but I still have her cord and am not sure how I’m going to get it back to her now skfjdks. Also thankfully the girls crowding me went to the pit, so I feel so much better now xx

bitchhhh there were two like 15yr old girls in my seat and the one next to mine, and when I asked the one in mine to get up they both initially left, but since there was still the seat next to me open, they came back and tried to share that space, but one of them ended up just being in front of me during the set in my own space & now they’re like compmaining about it, but like sisters, you guys were general and were lucky they opened up VIP for awhile (for wtf reason) but now that I paid $550 for that seat u better get out..,. Also I’m nervous bc the cord for my portable charger isn’t working skfjsks if any LB girlies have a spare iPhone cord they wanna share…. x
