Hiii friends I just woke up a little bit ago and went to catch up on what I missed here (looks like my sleep = news curse has returned) and I saw there was some discussion about hopes for the final track. I don’t know why because we really don’t have any information about it, but I just have this feeling that the final track of this record is going to be absolutely stellar and really floor me. Hell, the title track has already done this. We know from both Lana and insiders that this record will be really wordy and conversational, so I feel like this record will contain some of her most personal and best writing to date. Lana has a knack for including her most raw, personal, and well-written songs as the close for her records such as Yayo for AKA, Hope for NFR, Get Free for LFL, and Sweet Carolina for BB. She even referenced Swan Song in the W Magazine interview, which is the final original song from Honeymoon, and also fits the raw & personal category along with the others. We also know that the record features automatic writing and longer songs, and I feel like this will be one of them as she gets out her final words of all that she wants to say to close this chapter of her life. Anyway, I just have that sense this track will be really special and I’m looking forward to hearing it x

Guys idk what’s happening, but something really strange is going on. A couple hours ago I shared in here that I found an update about the car crash I was stuck behind on Saturday night/Sunday morning (in which I bonded with an Uber driver over the title track and the “don’t forget me” line) where it was reported the driver in the crash had died, and I just now found out that one of my friends from the Lana community that I’ve been in touch with for 5 years passed on Wednesday. The same day that the record was announced and the title track was released. That “don’t forget me” line is reeeeaaaalllllllyyyyy hitting me hard right now. To make things even more unsettling, on Saturday evening before that whole Uber moment happened, I had went to the mall for some holiday shopping and spontaneously stopped into Build-a-Bear and made myself a little pink fox. I was pondering over a name for awhile, but the name Candi popped in my head and I instantly decided to settle on that especially since they had a little cute candy cane dress I could put her in. It made me think of my friend named Candy and figured I should check in with her since I think it’s always a sign that when you think of someone, you should let them know. Now I’ve just found out my sweet Candy had passed earlier that week. I felt the need to share this with you all especially now that I’ve felt the “don’t forget me” line from the title track now twice in the past like ~24 hours, and now I come into this thread to see you all talking about the word “candy”??? I feel like I’m sort of just word vomiting rn but this is all really unsettling and I’m struggling with how to feel. I feel like her spirit was already reminding me not to forget her before I even knew she was gone. Rest in peace, Candy. It’s always hard to know we’ve lost someone from the fandom, especially someone who was as golden-hearted as she was. I wish she would’ve been around to hear the new album as I know she was looking forward to it. I at least hope she heard the title track before her passing. Another person I absolutely will never be forgetting x

Sorry to reply so many hours later, but I’ve been continuing to check for updates on this because I had a really bad feeling about it just because of how many police/ambulance were there & the fact that we were stuck there for so long. Actually, the first thing that started our whole deep talk together was with the topic of afterlife/reincarnation after a thought I expressed as an ambulance was trying to pass through saying “what if we’re witnessing someone exit and move on to their next life right now?” Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that the driver of the vehicle that collided did die in the hospital due to his injuries. 52 year old James. We won’t forget you x

Not sure if anyone’s posted about this yet as I haven’t seen it, but I think it’s absolutely iconic that there’s a billboard for the new record up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From announcing the album on Sean’s birthday to displaying this billboard in his city.. she really said “don’t forget me” x

I just wanted to share with you all a really formative & impactful moment I had tonight with the title track from this record. My wifey and I went out to our favourite bar that we frequent tonight until it closed at 3am, but we were still trying to keep the night going, so we hit up a friend of ours who works security at clubs to see where he was at tonight to let us in. He ordered us an Uber to meet him at his club for the night, and about 10 minutes into the drive while we were on the highway, there was a terrible accident a few cars ahead of us. We were stuck sitting there behind it as police cars and ambulances piled through, so my girl & I started chatting with the Uber driver about random stuff to pass time. I brought up Lana somehow (as I tend to do in every conversation) and the driver was like “Lana Del Rey? She’s so cool!” So ofc I asked him if he had heard her latest single yet and he said he hadn’t, so naturally, I played it on his aux & sang along to every word. Afterwards he said, “she killed that!” so I played a couple more of my favourite meaningful Lana songs for him such as Hope, California, 13 Beaches, Heroin, etc. The minutes kept passing and we began to sober up, and all of Lana’s lyricism got us in the mood to have some really deep conversations. The three of us ended up being stuck in that same spot on the road for nearly two hours as the accident was being dealt with, and during that time the three of us all talked together about the most intimate details of ourselves - our beliefs in afterlives/reincarnation, hopes & plans for the future, hallucinatory experiences, insecurities, darkest moments in our lives, happiest times, inner passions, family history, etc etc. Finally after almost two hours of no movement on that road, they eventually opened the lanes to get everyone off the road so they could close the entire highway, but by that time it was 4:45am and we decided to just head home instead of going to the club that would be closing in 15 minutes anyway. As we were only a couple minutes from our residence, I was like, “you know what, this calls for a full circle moment” and I played Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd once again. As we drove home in the final moments after all that we had just spoken about together, the three of us all sang along, even our driver to the chorus, us all shouting “DON’T FORGET ME” like it was the most important sentence we would ever say, hands in the air full on gospel-style (with our driver still keeping one hand on the wheel of course), as we reflected and relished in the final moments of the special time the three of us as two lovers and a stranger had just shared together. As the song began to fade out, he pulled into the driveway. We all exchanged hugs, and I told him that I would never forget him - and I meant it. He said he’ll always think of us when he listens to that song now, and I absolutely will always think of him & this moment too. Who knew that a two-hour traffic jam in the middle of the highway on the way to a club on a Saturday night would lead to one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences I had this year, perhaps even in all my years. I’ll never forget this moment - or our driver John, shout-out to him. I can’t wait for other memorable moments that I’m yet to experience with other tracks from the record, as there’s so many songs across Lana’s discography that I have such special ties too. However, this one is marking near the top of my list. Anyway, it’s 7:30am now so I’m getting ready to go off to sleep. See you all tomorrow. Love u xx

Earlier today, Lana followed celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta. He does looks prominently for Camila Cabello as well as several other singers, actresses, and fashion models such as Gigi Hadid & Emily Ratajkowski. His client book is pretty large. I wonder if he's worked with Lana recently, or if she's just a fan of his art or makeup line x

Goodmorning LB, I just woke up about 2 hours ago after deciding to sleep all day in the event I could return my sleep = news curse. However, it looks like the only thing I came back to was fighting in this thread earlier that I'm now working on cleaning up However, I did have a dream that Lana was going on a "surprise" tour. Basically what she was doing is popping up at random amphitheaters without announcing it until the day of the show. In my dream, this had been happening for 3 days and she was in Alabama the day before, so I was trying to figure out if and where she may be playing near me in Atlanta. Though I'm sure logistically her team & venues wouldn't really allow this as they'd want it to be promoted, I feel like there is a possibility that Lana may just do surprise pop-up shows instead of a tour for this record. I remember when she was in Dallas back in October and someone asked her about a tour, she said something like "Maybe I'll just come visit cities and be like I'm here!" Now that she'll have three albums out since her last tour, I can at least see her doing some pop-up shows at smaller venues perhaps around the summertime. Then maybe with enough convincing, they'll be a proper tour to promote this record later in the year x

I hate that it’s sort of because of me that this whole debate started since it was my comment saying “LDR9 IS COMING” that she replied to saying “10 if u include… Violet” But I also love that she checked me, my friends and I were laughing about it for days. Iconic, really x

It’ll depend on who restocks most frequently, but for now I’m thinking it may be her Webstore exclusive White variant as it’s already sold out in the USA and I’m not sure if they plan to restock around release day. Her Webstore variants tend to be pretty rare, except for COTCC probably due to the fact there were 2 of them that had the same cover and the popularity of the album was low compared to her others. I don’t remember them selling out quickly. If not that one, then the Amazon Pink may end up being the rarest. Because it’s really only being sold through them and they’ve been selling out quickly in multiple countries, I have a feeling they’re quite limited. This was the case for Amazon White vinyl for BB until they had an unexpected restock in 2022 (albeit with a slightly different pressing due to a different manufacturer.) The Dark Pink one is sort of a coin toss depending on how much Target restocks it for USA, as the Target edition of BB is its most rare variant since there were no major restocks, while it ended up being very common for COTCC as they continued to restock it (though the pressing changed slightly because of a different manufacturer similar to the BB Amazon restock.) I believe the Green variant will end up being pretty common as a lot of record stores will be selling them, and despite a lot of USA pre-orders selling out, many record shops will receive copies in their stores around release day. They’re also still available for pre-order in other countries, especially the UK - there’s tons of shops that still have them available, more than what I’ve listed in the OP. Additionally, it seems that Urban Outfitters is set to release this same variant which will add to the amount of pressings available. Though again, it may still be too early to tell since we don’t know everyone’s restock plans x

I do too, but I didn’t know I’d have access to it! If I remember correctly, the offer for her last Spotify exclusive (as well as ones for other artists) was sent to only her top listeners on the platform, and since I don’t listen through Spotify, I didn’t receive the email about it. Though, I think someone posted the direct link to it and that’s how I was at least able to order the COTCC one, but I’ve definitely missed out on some really limited Spotify exclusive vinyls from other artists in the past because of this and then had to buy on resale at a higher price x

Yesss I’m a sucker for a pretty picture disc. I think the first Lana record I ever bought on vinyl was the BTD picture disc. Idec about audio quality with them, they’re just pretty to look at in my collection. (though I hope for not a Spotify variant as I don’t use their platform and always have to find another way to order it skkk) x

Do it now before they’re gone and you regret it! Just as a general motto in life, it’s better to regret the things that you do do rather than the ones you don’t do (and unfortunately for my bank account, I do let that motto rule a lot of my financial decisions) xx That’s included in the 15 count! It’s the RSD pressing. & of course, a future RSD pressing could also be possible for this record too x

To go further into this, the Target Red, Webstore Clear, and Amazon Beige pressings technically had 2 different versions each - Target started with an opaque bright red EU pressing, and then later switched to a transparent deep red CA pressing. Then the Webstore Clear had two versions, the FR pressing was more of a grey-toned clear and the CA pressing was more of a blue-toned clear. The Amazon Beige was another similar situation with the EU pressing being more peach coloured & the CA pressing being more cream coloured. Some people also consider the Assai Records version of the yellow indie record to be another variant, but there’s really no difference aside from their version having a numbered OBI strip. So in total, COTCC could be considered to have 15 total variants. Here’s some good visual comparisons of this - I wonder if anything similar is going to happen with these coloured variants, if some end up having different tones based on where they were pressed x
