It’s exactly the sort of thing she’d do, especially after Emily Eavis subtly implied last week distracting from the work the festival has done to give more space and time to women this year. I have a feeling Lana won’t do a Glasto again, and if she does it’ll be in many years to come as a “legend” set. The fact Paul McCartney was their biggest headliner in five years (2022) and he wasn’t streamed just goes to show you cannot take it as read - it’s not a “tradition” of Glastonbury to have a stream for everyone and that appears to be a common misconception of everyone outside of the uk. She’s upset the organisers, she’s known for a protest, and after she refused to stream the second MITA show I’d say the likelihood of her getting any decent coverage (even if she consents to be broadcasted)is slim. (Especially after her 2014 glasto was slammed, even by the bbc presenters live on the day).

Lol ok I'm literally from the UK and have always sat and streamed specific sets as they're on. It's most definitely the most covered festival here (except maybe big weekend). We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm just saying it's weird of her label to post an ad saying 'sing along at 2230 to her Glastonbury set' if it isn't going to be streamed. Either way BST is only 2 weeks away so loads of us on here from the UK will seeing her live there anyways, would just be nice to have this set documented

All other “other stage” headliners come up in the dedicated highlights for each day when you search them in the listings - she’s not.

I'm not sure, but the listings are independent to the live streams. Maybe because it's a Saturday night and there's less channels available to show stuff in real time. We'll just have to wait and see.

It'll be really weird if she kicked up a fuss about being other stage and placed down on the poster, to then refuse to be streamed as it's a classic Glastonbury tradition

and before anyone @‘s me about this again - just look at the debacle that was Paul McCartney’s broadcast (the biggest artist of the entire festival) situation last year. Glastonbury coverage streams constantly. A lot of it isn’t live, a lot of is clips from earlier that day/weekend where artists don’t give consent to be streamed, it’s not new and the fact that the BBC haven’t scheduled her a clip show at any point over the next week is worrying (they re-show sets at all different times for around week after Glastonbury on their broadcasting channels).

BBC channels only show highlights and headliners, but each of the 5 big stages has a constant live stream from iplayer. Of course at artist's discretion, but with the fact that her label is advertising her set, I'm sure it'll be streamed

Imma try again. Does anyone know if I can use the axs reselling site to buy tickets to Lana’s concert in London? Because on hyde parks site it says that tickets from third parties will not get accepted at the door

AXS is the official ticket seller for BST, so it's not a third party! Hope you manage to get them!!!

When do we think we are getting supporting acts announced? All the other dates have them and some had a few more announced this week. Lana’s date meanwhile…

I hope soon… but Lana’s date announcement in general was a lot later than the others. Also they keep announcing extra artists to sell more tickets… like Blackpink is getting the most posts bc it’s selling the worst. Lana is sold out except some VIP tickets so I don’t expect any other big names

  6. She was 30 mins late for latitude so I see her pulling the late card at BST (bc its a 2 hour slot and no way is she gonna do more than 90 mins) but hopefully she won't do it at Glastonbury. Her slot is already shorter than her show so idk what she's gonna cut

I wouldn't be surprised if her lateness in general is what cost her a headline slot at Glasto this year - her only ever headline UK slot she delivered a 60 min show in a 90 min slot and the public were not happy, latitude didn't even post her in any summary pics from that year

  7. I do think the setlist we got is a good mix between songs we're used to from her and a switch up. My only real question is... you literally got backing singers, did they not even rehearse Thunder, like at all?? It's such an obvious choice

Just a couple of tweaks like adding Thunder (and WC) would make the setlist legendary imo. It's easy to complain about the BTD songs but I always enjoy them when she sings them

I hope she debuts a never performed song in the place of flip side for every show! Just so we can have live performances to watch of things we’ve never seen before :flutter:

This is such a cool idea. I know flipside isn't technically unreleased, but it would be so cool if she played an unreleased track like this at every show and then released them all on an EP after tour

  9. I love that we have no idea what the openers gonna be. My dream is the trio / BBS, but I then thought grandfather into fishtail was more realistic, but now we know the set might not be tunnel heavy I have no idea.

I wouldn’t be mad at all with NFR opening tbh

This and OTTR– great song, but it doesn't translate live imo

OTTR translated live as an outro but when it was playing just before VB it was confusing. She also stopped singing the chorus vocals and just let the audience sing it which was annoying

    No :rip:

I won’t be upset yet because there’s still probably 15 songs but I really don’t get why a 10 year old non-single like DMD potentially makes the set list over a brand new popular song like Let the light in/peppers/Paris texas or recent title tracks like chemtrails. It’s not like people wouldn’t know these

DMD is #10 on her Spotify most popular atm so I will forgive it if west coast and Brooklyn baby make the setlist for the same reasons

didn't she sa the grants was the closing track for tour on bbc?

I think she said something like ‘I put it in at the end’ but I wouldn’t be surprised if she just said that for the sake of it… I think the question from Clara was quite leading.

Tbh tho if the singers are going on tour with her and we get the Grants I won’t be mad, I’ll only be mad if she doesn’t use the opportunity to do Thunder
