She has soooo much talent, that much is undeniable. I loved her dearly years before the whole "incident" though I didn't know what to think of her afterwards. Hopefully she keeps on making music tho, that's what truly matters to me in the end.

Hmm so then the time really was location-based, though I'm wondering why it was on Apple and not all the other platforms like Audible. And then just one "single" on Spotify so far. Not another messy release... WHY 

The poems are just so long (in a great way!) it's almost like it's too much content for me to take in at once, so if possible, I'll probably dive into the poems early

All of this triggered me so I checked too and the first thing I saw was 39 mins (the length of the audiobook) which I freaked out at in my delusional excitement before processing 

I just think that since they didn't give her a grammy for the renown and highly praised album NFR, choosing instead to favour trendy teen music over it, that it'll never happen. It is what it is - at the end of the day, this one particular award show doesn't define her success and never will. 

I've only heard and read a few of the poems so far and I'm already satiated, like my brain is overflowing with emotion, inspiration and a bit of sjhdksgsfjg. I wouldn't even mind if this album is moved further into the future (not that I'm hoping for that). I'm just so happy, and soon, this album will be the cherry on top/final bullet

IM SCREAMING AT THE LENGTH OF THESE WRITTEN POEMS AHHHH 

Right? Society scrutinizes women for getting older, and then scrutinizes them when they go for fillers etc. to maintain that very youth that everyone's obsessed with. Can never win   I hope in the future people overall just let this go so we can all grow in peace.

Hmm I don't think it has anything to do with Taylor, I think Lana just naturally enjoys writing and making a lot of music and dropping it whenever/casually, like how she's talked a lot about her desire to do surprise releases. I'm happy she has enough creativity to keep making art, and hope she doesn't slow down

I feel you. This feels like a whole ass album, and the quality... 

I thought she'd talk a lot slower. However, since the song lengths are the same, it means the poems are a lot longer than what I thought

I'd say that's pretty fair to say I love her 1989 album (an all-time fave), and while this new one is beautiful too, I also find that it lacked intensity. Like all in all, a bit too mellow/dull/one-tone sounding for me.
 
I really loved some of the lyrics though, they really stood out to me and spoke to me. I also found it interesting that she took such a different direction this time, and I enjoyed the aesthetics very much too!

As much I love snippets, finding/listening to leaks, and am obviously an impatient person, I hope when I do listen to her upcoming new music, that it'll be for the first time. I wasn't so excited when first listening to NFR because I basically already had listened to it all a million times over by the time it was officially released, and some of it forever ago due to Lana herself, her zillion snippets. It's of course exciting for both Lana and the fans, but in the end I just think it kills the freshness of the work by release day. It's like a celebration of "old" songs by then - happy they're all released, but the experience is certainly dulled.
 
You know that feeling when you come across an incredible song you haven't heard of before, even if it's from an unfamiliar artist, and it's so good that you just fall into a deep rabbit hole and find even more gems? It's so great and unexpected, and I'd love to feel that way for this.

This has given me so much life, overall. Love it, and all that you and others have found. Her team can't even quietly code in peace, the fandom is much too insane 

I'm really excited that it's accompanied with music. Like wether it's quiet and serene background music or crashing waves, I can imagine her voice speaking over it and it'd be such a beautiful exp. Also, with her speaking rather than singing the words, I think it'll feel a lot more personal too. I'm also just really glad this project really did come to fruition! Finally, a poetry piece (especially the book!!! can't waaaait) by little Miss Lana.

So the first audio book is probably being released on July 28th, while its physical hard copy is being released Sept. 29th, right But it's weird that she hasn't mentioned or promoted anything about her audiobook being released in 3 weeks...    Because of that, I won't be surprised if the date gets moved/wasn't serious to begin with etc.

If she really pulls through with all of this, like the audio book, the new album, the physical poetry book and then the second audio book - AHHH    This'll be beyond amazing. Like I'm not even sick of her previous release yet and she's about to hit me with so many more. She's really been bringing it. 

And I thought it was insanity how people were losing their minds over her looks and weight yesterday, only to wake up to people now losing their minds over her plaid shirt.

I agree. I'm Asian and a big majority of my specific culture isn't made up of sacred, deep things either (like that asian head piece Lana wore on tour, which has no meaning lol, it's just pretty). I understand cultural appropriation (i.e. the sacred Indigenous head piece that is reserved for significant figures in that community so it's disrespectful for random people to parade around in it) but like, this is a damn plaid shirt. I actually think when people start calling out innocent things like this, that they're the ones who are truly causing a divide among society and being problematic.

This may be weird a bit, but between all this COVID madness and my own life, I've thought about my fave artists and how they're coping, if they're well protected etc. especially Lana, my fave of them all   It may be ridiculous how she's wearing her mask and all, but I'm glad she's taking this seriously and is trying her best (even if it's clearly not the best lol) to keep safe. I would be quite lost if something bad happened to those who inspire me so much! Even if one of these days she feels she's now gotta dress up in a masked onesie, I'd be all for it
