  1. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I’m sure the producers have access to the music so I’m not that worried about it but It’s devastating to lose an entire book’s worth of poetry. I wouldn’t blame her if she doesn’t release any projects for a while.. I can tell that she puts her all into her poetry. my heart breaks for her 💔
  2. This is all really bad but hey it could’ve been worse. Imagine if she had a bad verse. We wouldn’t stop hearing about it from the swifties. I’m glad I get to grieve these two days before all the backlash starts though
  3. LDR9 announcement when BB sweeps at the Grammys. She’ll announce it during her win speech like Taylor did for Midnights. 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️
  4. Word on the street is she’s releasing a single in November called “I’m happiest when Im lying down in the park and look up and I think to myself. Isn’t it beautiful that just lying on the grass and feeling the support of the earth underneath me is enough for today?” they say it’s extremely experimental and representative of the upcoming record’s sound.
  5. That’s actually exactly how my cousin described it to me!
  6. It means she won't announce them until they're out on streaming platforms
  7. My cousin works at Interscope and gave me the following insider tea about LDR9: - Album title (as of now) is “Death Never Comes”. “Burden of Fame” is an alternate title that the execs are really liking right now. - The album is described as “unfiltered and unflattering”. Very experimental and dramatic while being piano-based. Being compared to Fiona Apple’s The Idler Wheel. - She will incorporate spoken word poems from “Behind the Iron Gates - Insights from an Institution” into the album as interludes. She intended on giving it the VBBOTG treatment but changed her mind last minute. - Album opener is titled “Change Everything”. Album closer is a poem from BTIG “My Father Told Me If I Went Slowly, I’d Be Safe - But He Was Wrong” delivered as beat poetry. - Track 7 is called “Leather Leotard” and is definitely the Dealer of the album. A jazzy, screamer that sounds pretty much improvised, think Rhianna’s Higher. - She will shadow drop two singles Sep 2. “Brokeback Bareback” and “Prosecco and Peaches”. The second was recorded very recently and sounds like Black Bathing Suit mixed with Cruel World. - unreleased tracks being considered: Pawn Shop Blues, Noir, Serene Queen, and Valley of the Dolls. - One of the tracks includes snippets of voice memos she’s been recording of herself sleep-talking. Being played throughout the song in a similar fashion to Adele’s My Little Love. - She caught some flack for ad-libbing “Fuck Marina” in one of the tracks. Expect chaotic energy coming from every song.
  8. I’d show up as DeluluKing As in, I’ll be escorted out of the wedding
  9. I don’t 😭😭 maybe I’ll record myself saying my Ex’s name and have that abruptly play after the “fuck you”
  10. For Free isn’t a good closer for this album. Remove that and add Wildflower Wildfire back and you got a perfect album.
  11. Why did no one tell me that If You Lie Down With Me was the jazzy country cutesy softcore blues Lizzy marching band On Our away sequel Pixar movie crying in the backseat bussy princess bop that it is!! What a highlight!
  12. Stupid question but when she says “Just do it. Just do it, Don’t wait” what is the “it” she’s asking him to do?
  13. I just finished my first listen of the album. I’m not disappointed at all! BBS, IYLDWM, VFR, Dealer, and Sweet Carolina are highlights! i really liked the album and I cant wait to listen to it more and connect with the music more but I feel like this will be a very hard album for the general public to digest. I usually let my mom listen to Lana’s albums whenever she releases them but I think I won’t with this one. It feels like only Lana fans would get it or is it just me? Also I will say, and I’m saying this in the nicest way possible, I think she did a huge disservice to NOTG with its placement in the album. I’ve loved the song for a while now and I’ve been so excited for it finding a home in this record but I felt like it’s placement in the tracklist didn’t do the song justice; it comes after Dealer, Thunder and Wildflower Wildfire (three HEAVY hitters) and it feels kind of jarring because the lyricism feels so different than the rest of the album. I also wish there were some instrumentation added to the song because honestly after WFWF, NOTG just feels kinda empty? I really hope this was just with me and that everyone else enjoys NOTG cuz I always have, just not in the context of this album sadly.
  14. NOOO PLEASE I MEANT REWORK IT IN THE SAME WAY NOT THAT TNBAR WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE ?????
  15. I hope Nectar of the Gods is a bit reworked in the chorus. I don’t necessarily like the “knew, knew, knew” and “Blue, blue blue” but that’s just me. like keep the same production and everything but just rework the lyrics like TNBAR
  16. Hi guys! so me and my best friend tend to do something special for our first listen of a new Lana album. Since NFR was such a beach album, I would’ve suggested our first listen to be at the beach but obviously I haven’t heard the music yet so I wouldn’t know. So that’s why I wanna ask you guys. What should the setting of our first listen be? What vibes does the album give off?
  17. Guys guys I won’t listen to the leak but I just need one question answered. not sure how much of a hot take this was.
