  1. I wasn't being rude or abrasive I was saying the statement was a trigger for me if you don't understand that them you don't
  2. You are so dumb lana's statement was a trigger for me but oh no that's okay because it's just words it means nothing but to actually see it is different well some of us live/lived it. It's total bullshit so don't fucking sit there telling me shit I know about and you clearly don't you're just speculating, the last thing I want to hear is someone glamorizing in on an album when people have spent the last 20 years trying to get away from that.
  3. Do i really sound like I'm being sarcastic I'm pissed about this bullshit and everyone trying to justify it
  4. It's glamorizing/sexualizing violence some of you clearly support, it I don't she's being a fucking idiot
  5. It's not just the lyric though is it, it's the statement about the lyric I sing, for example, "he hit me and it felt like a kiss", a feeling I love. You know when you think it's love, but it's so passionate that it becomes aggressive. It is an attractive quality to me. In a world where everyone is bored, I like people with emotion. It's fucked up and anyone who thinks it isn't needs to ask themselves why Some of us have a reason to be fucking salty!

Hi I'm Lana I want to take women back to the 1800's by trying to glamorize and make domestic abuse sexy. I'll make a huge impression on a lot of venerable young females and males who don't know any better, cause I'm so fucking bored and brain dead that I can only feel emotion when someone is beating the shit out of me, bonus i'll be safe whilst doing this and be making a shit load of money at the same time. Enjoy Ultraviolence [iMAGE REMOVED] Some people have a reason to get fucking salty!
  7. There's nothing else to say if this needy bullshit is on UV I won't be buying it ... here read this...
  8. I'm not worked up over something so irrelevant I always though you needed to get a good beating to actually feel attracted to someone and to reassure you they had emotions Yeah she clearly doesn't cause she being a dumb bitch Yeah I won't buy the shit either
  9. When Courtney refers to it as sick she means it's fucking stupid, I wonder how many more ways Lana can try and rip the Cobain's whilst getting it so fucking wrong
  10. That's a Carol King song from like over 50 years ago, which Courtney covered 20 years ago. Lana is getting so predictable it's actually starting to piss me off Cliché
  11. I think that's what's doing my head on about it, like I've heard all these little bits before in other really well known songs, that and the really bad tempo changes. I wonder if the Beatles will be suing for royalties
  12. The Beatles 'I love her' rip is the best bit of the song and the bit at the end reminds me of the guitar/synth riff on Tortoise and Bonnie Prince Billy's cover of Thunder Road.
  13. Yeah same. It's like she's tried to pull off the loud/soft, fast/slow dynamic of two very famous bands... but hasn't and failed miserably it sounds like a right mess. Hoping the rest is way better than this.
  14. Let's agree to totally disagree on that
  15. Hmm you do know we evolved from primates and woman was not made from the rib of man.
  16. I just don't see the comparison, they are both very post war political writers, whereas Lana's writing is more about 'her' personal issues particularly relationships, that's not political. Just cause she likes Cohen and Dylan it doesn't mean she has the same writing style. Perhaps her lyrics seem profound on an emotional level but they are not intellectually profound. TBH there's not one song of Lana's that compares emotionally or intellectually to the lyrical quality of say Suzanne or Bird on a Wire, if there is let me know. But that's my opinion, I think she's doing her own thing she's from a different era to them, it's so different to them, yeah I just don't get it.
  17. I'm not sure profound is the right word for Lana's lyrics in the same context as Dylan and Cohen. Dylan and Cohen are political artists, I don't think her writing is anything like theirs
  18. Yeah I didn't look at it like that, guess Monday will make it all clear
  19. Is it, I'm leaving you forever Not sure she's closed a chapter tbh

    Lorde

But they are fans of Lorde, they asked her to do it. Krist has covered her songs, they like her get over it.

    Lorde

Obviously not Nirvana's opinion, it was their choice and a good one, along with the amazing Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and St. Vincent. Besides Lana is an Axl Rose fan they ain't going any where near that it was Nirvana's night, so be happy for them given the most important person to them wasn't there, it's not all about Lana it's about Nirvana and Kurt.
