  1. Ok not the aesthetic I pictured for this type of sound lol. Thought it would've been more like...popping bright colors, von dutch hats, y2k rave style clothing, l messy 14 era style graphics. Don't like it. :noparty: But at least the music goes off :true:

As someone who was a diehard Kim fan up until Slutpop 1 released... I just dont understand the thought behind doing it again.

Its definitely the weakest of all of her bodies of work let alone just lacking in any artistic depth or quality. There are so many artists making "erotic pop" music actually bringing something to the table while this is just.......... well, it exists.

Like, what really is the benefit for releasing this? Just more controversy and shock value? It feels like since slutpop, unholy, jesus is a rockstar, feed the beast shes really trying to get a lil nas x moment to get headlines and propel her forward but at what cost to the music quality?

After Feed the Beast I thought she'd kind of be given more reigns over her music / aesthetic direction. I guess I dont know why, but in Era 1 and Clarity, and TOTL, I saw Kim as being an artist that had a bit of a cool edge charisma to her. But it really seems like all she has to offer is "slutpop", "coconuts", and "slutpop miami".... from someone who just doesnt genuinely give off this type of energy in interviews.

I think thats what really gets to me too with these slutpop records is its just so clear that this is kim trying to put on a characterization that she isn't exactly pulling off like Ayesha or Slayyyter do. At her core Kim is a goofy, quirky, socially awkward pop culture nerd and she isn't really fooling anyone pretending shes a regina george sex goddess. She's just trying way, way too hard.

    Ma'am this is a Wendy's

If the album is called Party Girl, I’m surprised it took this long for her to include her favorite word in an album title but it does feel right

I mean, if it really is Party Girl it would be pretty underwhelming compared to 360brat :noparty:

  4. Gen V photoshoot is giving TFM + BTW lovechild omfg. The motorbike, the crystals mask, the fur, the dance in the dark-esque pic :defeated:can she blow up already?! tiktok not tiktoking enough

  5. Tomorrow it's 6 years of Blue Lips my god :defeated: her absolute peak, looks, hair, art direction, sound and lyrics, and I don't say it just cause it's an album that completely changed my life and got me through the worst depression. Also let's talk about how Cycles has to be her most underrated single??

What a better day to leak the Coachella demo of Struggle then tomorrow? :hooker:

I think Til I Die was from crash era not the new album :)

Oh ok this makes much more sense lol, it was listed in the 360brat songs a few pages ago

  7. Wasn't the stuff she was working on for the new album supposed to "be clubbier and go hard"? Cause this Till I Die is cute but In The City clears her in the going hard department :deadbanana:

Like I pictured something along the lines of the new Peach PRC single when she said that...

blank space tv... okayyyyyyyy i cant decide if this is wanegbt level trash or actually just fine :diva:

Can't wrap my head around HOW could she downgrade it this time around with the adlibs when her voice is stronger than in 2014. The high note on "warn yaaaaAAAA" now sounds lie a dying cat running out of breath. IDK how, the BV in Wildest Dreams TV improved like i thought they would've, but here...

yesss exactly… my body sounds like a ke$ha warrior outtake to me aswell

TBH the most Ke$ha/Dr luke sounding song is Girl Like Me, the outro took some notes straight out the Thinking Of You/International Smile vocaloid guitar solo bridges

One thing I really miss about the “Charli” era… life itself felt vibrant and exciting… like we were moving closer and closer to something really great, and I hear that in the music on this album… You’d go out on a Friday or Saturday and there was just such a great energy among all the people. It just brings back a lot of fond memories of that time. It’s my favorite era of hers by far… and it wasn’t just the “Charli” album, but the years of lead up to it, seeing everything unfolding in real time.

But now in just a few short years, I almost feel the complete opposite. Like we went from some of the best of times to some of the worst.

Yup yup, 2019 was like such a great year for me, and each piece of the rollout just felt majestic and so aligned with my mood. That and Sunshine Kitty's carried the summer and the rest of the year til the pandemic

I liked it but I think it would have benefited from a tighter tracklist.

The Warm erasure tho:crai: that outro alone is some of her very best work, the shivers while experiencing it live. And i'm also a TOOTIME apologist like her lol

  13.

Happy b-day Charli  can't belive it's been 4 years.

What are your thoughts on the album now vs then? When I tell you I ATE it up, so many post high school memories, but still it felt like a more approachable version of Pop2 and that's what I think made it age a bit, barely listen to it nowadays. Silver Cross and NLC tho...her best opener still. :krylie:

  14. Personal song of the summer already tbh. Even of the year probably since borderline was kinda good but kinda a let down, too Dua Lipaish. This is quintessential Tove. And the fact she could come up with such a eurodance banger without sampling like everyone else lately...instant classic i fear :defeated:
