    She's SO mother for this. Even tho I'm 100% sure she thought May had 30 days so she planned on releasing it on Wednesday from the start thinking it would already be June LoL

    ...sooo, guess it's a WW release then? Hope at least that this means they're pushing for a big promo since it's big summer hit material, 2 Die 4 but make it sad and an original melody. That weird ass cover/video might be a problem tho...:awkney:

    Serious question, why do y'all hate Slut Pop THAT much? And god please let aside the Luke bullshit, i wanna know what makes it so unlistenable or if it's just like a flock mindset type of situation (very likely imo).

    Like the concept is defined, the aesthetic is coherent, the sound and lyrics are tight and aligned with the concept, the djset sequence mixing makes it a fun, mindless, quick and danceable experience. I'ts basically TOTL but make it dumb horny Valentine's day music. And it's treated like it should've been some sort of super serious project but it never even pretended to be one so???

    FTB is already shaping up to be her worst project to date in comparison. THAT should receive this kind of hatred, i'm very confused

    Like Make You Cry is the last written close to mixing deadline so we had to come up with somt real quick, I wrote 99% myself and it ended up being one of the lyrics i'm most proud of.

    Hi, so a friend just released his debut EP that we worked on for the past seven months.

    It's a concept album about the aftermaths of a bad breakup, with each song representing one of the stages of grief (ik they're 5 but whatever): Denial, Reaction, Anger and Acceptance. The visual theme of the neon liminal spaces was picked as a reference to the psychological meaning of "transitory states of mind that can be frightening".

     

    I curated the graphics aspect of the project (with every song having a cover tied to it's meaning) as well as writing a good 75% of it all since this was my thesis project and also inspired by a tough breakup I went through as we worked on it. I'm also doing the spoken outro in No Friends :creep:

    a sample well done switches up the original like Hung Up, Midnight Sky, Love Again, Icy, Pity Party and much more

    Surely not talking about UTKM that literally inverts the theme of the original and reworks the sample in a fresh way

    True Romance is not mid at all, y'all just love only songs you can club to. It's actually a very interesting ballad. That bass centered production brings something new to the table unlike I'm To Blame.

    I swear to God she needs to stop doing this cutting like 10 seconds max of lyrics for no reason. I'm not gonna stream the YouTube version while I'm shuffling my Spotify playlist, I'm gonna most likely download a fan edit mp3 that's not gonna count for streams :facepalm:
