Having heard Violet, I'm very excited to see what we get with Behind the Iron Gates next year. I really hope she takes the same approach, audiobook release and then physical.

Only just finished my first listen (piece of advice: don't rely on Audible, their service is absolute trash, they take hours to add a purchase to your library) Violet is beautiful. Lana's vocal delivery is so soothing, but not too melancholy, and Jack's music is complimentary but not distracting. Sportcruiser is a particular favourite. It provides so much context for her thoughts and actions in recent times. I'm very excited to read the additional poems in the physical release, and to get Behind the Iron Gates - Insights from an Institution next year.

It's annoying me that on Lana's site, there are buttons to order the CD, vinyl and picture disc, but not the cassette...girl, who is handling the merch because this is messy. https://lanadelrey.com/

Since it will be available in full as an audiobook on Audible and Google Play Store on July 28th, that alone makes it eligible, it doesn't necessarily have to be released on Spotify/Apple Music etc. before August 31st.

Yeah, I'm starting to get the feeling that they're only putting out LA on streaming services to generate hype, and still expect people to go to Audible/Google Play Store etc.

I'm guessing LA Who Am I to Love You is like the "single" of the audiobook, and the full album will be uploaded shortly? I hope it's not like a teaser to try and push people to purchase the full audiobook on other platforms.

Could everyone posting or quoting the poems use the spoiler tag? I'd rather wait until the full audiobook is available...

To find the time remaining on Audible, you have to pre-order the audiobook, then go into your Library and into your Pre-Orders, and then Order Details.

Same, I've ordered everything and have almost all the variations and formats of her previous albums. There's only a couple I don't have, and I've started ordering them online, but yes they get super expensive once they're out of stock. I paid over double the original price a few weeks back for the clear Lust For Life vinyl. I think the nicest version of Violet is the green vinyl, but from an international point of view, the UO blue might be rarest, since it's only available from one retailer in one country? Depends on how many they produce I suppose. The red Love/Lust For Life vinyl was pretty limited (5,000 units), but since they didn't say in the product description, the blue Violet vinyl probably isn't as limited.

I'm now broke until next week, so here's hoping that nothing appears from that Tape Deck listing until then...

I just tried ordering the cassette with PayPal and it was rejected....weird... EDIT: Tried again and it worked fine. Hopefully everything on the store is now fully sorted out, and we'll just have to wait to find out what the deal is with the Tape Deck.

Sounds like they've still got issues with the product listings, if the orders aren't matching up to the images...they should really shut the store for maintenance until everything is sorted out, rather than tinkering with stuff while people are still able to place orders.

This has to be the worst merch launch to date, what a mess. I'm worried that because the Cream Vinyl hasn't gone back up on its own, the store might limit it to the bundles. In which case, they might cancel the order I made last time when it was briefly possible to purchase individually. Also, I have the cassette ordered from FNAC but the product page no longer works, so I think that order might get cancelled. Tempted to order Collector's Bundle + Black Vinyl and request all the individual orders be cancelled, as they're still pending. What do you think?
