Btw she’s obviously talking about the album cover, why would she even talk about the second cover for the magazine out of the blue just prior her album drops and people are begging her to say anything associated with NFR

I do feel like this Steven shoot is for the album cover. He's very skilled in creating what the artist wants, and I think Lana knows how capable he is of creating her vision. Remember Lana said she had an idea she always wanted to do, and I feel like Chuck is very limited with her work (no offence).
Surely Lana wouldn't be so forgetful that she did two shoots with Steven already? I mean...maybe but ugh let me dream!

Welcome to the LDR 6 Pre-Release Thread Annual Discussion & Meltdown!
Now that we have some sort of actual concrete information, it seemed appropriate to begin the Pre-Release thread! (another Pre-Release thread will be created once we learn the title of the album)
So, here's what is known/speculated so far:
Facts:
- Will be released early 2019 (most likely between January - March)
- Will most likely include 'Mariners Apartment Complex' and 'Venice Bitch', with MAC acting as the lead single
- Jack Antonoff will play a lead role in the production of the album
- She will be experimenting with electric guitars and has taken influence from the Red Hot Chili Peppers
Speculations:
- Four other songs that could potentially be on the album: 'Happiness is a Butterfly', 'Bartender', 'Sylvia', and this Unknown Title.
- Could contain collaborations with artists such as Marina and The Diamonds, Florence and the Machine, FKA Twigs, Wiz Khalifa, etc.

i don't hate her backup dancers, I think it's kinda cute at times but i understand people's dislike for Lana having to share her stage presence- there's a specific magic you can find in her 2011-2013 performances when it was just her swaying on stage to her music that you don't see in her 2016-current performances of half-assed choreo and the obviously fake microphones the girls get
not to mention the awkward lip syncing from the hiab teasers
if you're in the business to be a backup dancer or be on a major artist's team it's kinda mandatory that you treat them like people, friends, co-workers, etc. it's their job to work with major celebrities..if you freak or are overly geeked by the artist you're being paid to work with ppl probably won't want to hire you
it's a business to generate revenue at the end of the day

i love how in october i was dying waiting for the first quarter of 2019 for this album... now thats almost passed already
my delusional ass thought that there was a possibility of us getting the album before 2018 was over.

Which rendered it...bloated.
Ultraviolence is perfectly cohesive in sound and theme, and only 11-tracks long despite some of the track lengths.
maybe they were talking about the deluxe? Guns and Roses is....
But I love Black Beauty, Is This Happiness, and Flipside. I think they fit beautifully on the album. Florida Kilos is fun but not the best fit.

MAC is so underated everyone always talks about Venice Beach's instrumental breakdown but never acknowledge MAC's. It's honestly so dreamy and needs to be recognized

The worst thing is that Lana declared she was working on Sylvia in earlier 2018 and then she decided to release it a whole year after, like... you had a fully year to work in your song and the result was a 5mins ballad composed by a very quiet piano and lead vocals? girl...
the worst thing she did to that song imo is change the name

My feeling is she might be adding one new song, like Hey Blue Baby since the response was overwhelmingly positive at the December benefit. I think her team and her might want to release both the poetry book together, thus taking more time. It's honestly been too long, though.
im honestly not here for IMBSFFSH and HBB being on the album. they were cute songs but they don't fit the vibe
