    I don’t want to burst any bubbles but the vinyl coming on April 7 might just be final stock of one of the variants :poordat: One of our Australian record stores got new stock in for some of the variants and are selling them for up to 50% higher prices, and when I emailed them asking about the increase they replied, "The price on these reflects the higher prices we had to pay to secure further stock after our initial stock ran out.” :runs: But I would absolutely love to be wrong

    GOOD NEWS: The Amazon "pink", retail dark pink, and standard black vinyls are ALL back in stock on Discrepancy Records!

     

    BAD NEWS: They are in very limited stock (all are in single digit amounts) and they are all more expensive than before.

    I was one of those people stoking the deluxe/sequel idea because of the church pic and other unseen pics and such :sadcore5: Remember when Ben put something about “album(s)” in an IG caption about Lana? Was that in 2020, 2021 or 2022? They’re all the same year in my mind lol :toofunny:

    I would say that there are exactly zero personal criticisms people could raise against Lana that would negate her worth as an artist (which is being one of the greatest artists in history) and I would tell her to get a life and let herself enjoy things cuz it doesn't matter

    I think it's just the way Jack mixed the song, wild at heart was the same. On my green and dark pink vinyls it's quiet at the start and gets really loud in the second part. Also grandfather gets significantly louder than the rest of the album on my vinyls :headache:

    and the pretentiousness - yes. "Me and my boyfriend write hit records without trying, like, all the time." Um, technically, you haven't had a solo hit since Doin' Time four years ago but okay, Lana.


    I don't think she believes that everything she does is genius or perfect, I think it's that she's just exploring her writing craft and seeing what comes out automatically, and she puts it on the record because she's into the idea of just "getting it all in one take", literally and metaphorically.
     

    She said herself that she thinks Fingertips isn't a  good song (hard disagree) and that she's past the point of expressing, she's just writing. She has more of a spiritual impetus now and believes that she's not the sole auteur, that her work is more channeled from elsewhere and therefore needs to be just the way it is for some kind of karmic reason.

    I’m confused, so did they never actually have stock on hand and just listed the pre-orders with a certain amount of stock allocated by Lana’s team or something? I’m so annoyed that I didn’t see they were selling the Amazon pink until it was sold out :poordat: I really hope they restock her
