Unpopular opinion (maybe) but I actually love how most of the “mainstream” tracks (Take Me To Dubai, Sunscreen, Burn Rubber, etc) didn’t make the cut and left space for the more experimental material

Honestly this is a mess… first the lowercase xcx now this like pick a direction and stick to it Charlotte. And no, this is not brat, this is just messy, period. Also this whole “the remix with” kinda situation was so fresh and new and so on brand with the whole brat-and-it’s-the-same naming vibe, I’m really not ready to drop it

Tea but I have a feeling most of the leaked tracks are not gonna be released. 2/3 of the released tracks so far were unleaked and RW was being extremely pushed by BC Kingdom. I feel like Charli would never push for Taxi to be released.

There’s no questioning Taxi being iconic or release worthy, same for Bounce. But hearing how this album is shaping up with these two new songs + Reason Why being kinda stripped down in comparison with the leaked demo, I think they’re going for a very very minimalistic and sophi(e)sticated kinda techno-electronic sound. Tracks like Taxi (or even WGFU at this point) would sound too jarring imo…

It’s not that different, but it definitely is more layered, more polished (duh) and way more liquid-y and fluid (?) whereas the performance/demo was harsher imo Also it originally featured her vocals + the iconic “Music. Dance. Berghain.” line repeated throughout the song – even tho it might have not necessarily ever been part of the song to begin with and just a line she added for her sets

This was soooo out of the blue I’m literally shaking + the rework IS SOOOO FUCKN GOOOOOOD
