  1. i'm seeing a lot of you talking about mita but i was there for opening night and honestly i thought coachella was a slightly superior concert, despite the sound issues and lana's nervousness. i saw several comments about the crowd being dead last night but frankly that's the setlist fault lmao, people on rio were RABID for the hits like summertime sadness but songs like bartender got them so quiet that i was actually embarrassed to sing along because i would be the only one. and coachella was a similar phenomenon, you can tell people sang along to the bops and were dead at the flops, the crowd is not the problem here. the only thing i thought mita did better was the presence of GODside (although no one else in the crowd knew how to sing it as well sdjkfsjk) and venice bitch and a better placement for a&w, imo stage design, outfits and even setlist were better on coachella

  2. lana should REALLY consider a live orchestra if she wants to keep doing those many ballads that would upgrade the experience so much like imagine arcadia but with beautiful strings? that could be the highest point of the show! the way the band is currently set right now doesn't allow the slower songs to really shine. you see they work really well with higher energy songs like west coast but when it comes to songs like bartender it all gets really quiet and weird

I know it's hard pill to swallow for some fans, but for a lot of people, unless you're a hardcore Lana fan, she's just not a very exciting live act--and if you add the lack of upbeat material to the equation, it really doesn't help defeating that perception. :oprah6:

unfortunately that is true but the thing is lana HAS the material, she just doesn't want to do it live
