omg i didn’t know it was vroom vroom anniversary yesterday. there’s a tweet out there from me somewhere after listening to trophy for the first time totally trashing it and saying it sounded like a black eyed peas reject or something LMAOOOOO now it’s absolutely one of my all time favorite charli tracks. i was in high school when vroom vroom dropped and my music knowledge at the time was absolute trash. vroom vroom kinda the game changer for me when it came to ACTUALLY listening to music past just hearing a song and having it be this kind of experience you can have with sounds and really diving into other genres of music <3

ugh i feel you. the way it’s like a crazy a*s duet between sophie’s production and charli singing and knowing we won’t get another one. it’s this emotion of feeling crazy happy and crazy sad at the same time. i heard the outro start and couldn’t couldn’t help but think of sophie “try to catch me but you’re too slow”. and the way it ends with the gasp suddenly yeah it’s making me feel a lot right now

it’s so crazy how things work i was blasting trophy, 9, and bipp yesterday while driving and i was just thinking.....yeah nobody does it like her. it was so sad to hear the news. but anyways like everyone’s saying it’s SOOOO amazing to see so many people sharing their memories of her and her music. she built this thing that no one can ever touch and this is gonna hurt for a long time. gone way too soon
