This is a stupid question to ask, but did BTD have a theme? Paradise had one but I never pegged BTD for having something concrete other than tragic lover undertones. So... Ultraviolence wont be thematic but "atmospheric"... interesting

I presume you're a sucker for symmetry right ? I agree with your point but think of this a curveball. It's kind of ridiculous for us to assume that all her future album covers will feature the same central positioning with her name on the same upper half and the album name on the lower half. She's mixing things up subtly.

I can't think of any contemporary examples but Bjork has consistently never placed her name on an album cover apart from her Greatest Hits.

A lot of artists choose to not place their names on their album covers because it is distracting. Surely any sane person can simple flip the album and read the credits on the back, let alone the side of the physical album.
