    Yeah, I think I've seen it too. But why they didn't include a small intro (like in SL) to explain what is actually happening. And I also think Gaga in pink and black in ROM video is Kindness Punk? But still, it's just a guess, while in SL there's intro, tribe symbols and basically you get the idea where everything's going. Hopefully everything will be somehow explained and tied in together eventually

    I honestly expected Chromatica visuals to have a story? Like, who are the Spiritual ones? What's the name of Ariana's tribe/haus?

     

    What if we get a mini-movie of Chromatica on the day its released? Including the singles and it all comes together? Ending it with Babylon and that rumored MV with cave and Enigma being the voice in the sky telling them to go to Babylon?

     

    IDK, but I wish we got a storyline with ROM like the one we got in the beginning of SL

    Can i just say there isn't a day where I don't mourn the RM tracks.

    I don't remember if it's Lizzy that is shown during the performance but this is the character, controversial frontwoman for the band Lizzy Wizzy and the Metadwarves. In the beginning of a demo, it's reported that a death occurred at one of her concerts so imagine if we get to attend one of her concerts in-game!

    I thought that was the same frontwoman with the wig on (during Grimes' performance). I could be wrong, but I don't get why would that holographic woman appear if it wasn't Grimes' character.

    however, I think MAGDALENE is waaaay less mainstream than LP1. Trip-hop is far more accessible and radio friendly than these baroque-pop distorted ballads, with the exception of holy terrain of course. home with you is def not for a mainstream audience and cellophane isn't really either imo! 

     

    I actually wonder how critics will react to this record. cellophane was #25 on Pitchfork's 200 best songs of this decade. I have a feeling she'll get a lot of positive reviews on this one but I don't know if they'll be as good as LP1's reviews (i.e. she got an 8.8 on Pitchfork)

     

    You could be right, though. I won't judge until I hear the whole thing for at least two times.

     

    Way to go Cellophane for being #25 of this DECADE. I mean, the song came out recently and it's already up there. But as far as I'm concerned I don't care about reviews and charts (IDK if that's the same thing), just as long as she (or any other artist) is happy with their work.

    holy terrain and sad day are the most trip-hop type songs akin to LP1. the rest are ballads that end up exploding with sound towards the end of the song. mary magdalene is kind of a mix mix of the two styles and thousand eyes sounds pretty insane but it was only used as an interlude in the show (it starts choral like Preface from LP1 then explodes with drums and percussion and distorted sounds). only song we haven't heard anything from is fallen alien! hope this helps 

     

    Awesome, thanks! Now I'm not as excited about the album as I used to, cause I thought there was hope. :noparty: IDK, I'm happy for her and finally new music is here, but it's definitely NOT what I've expected from FKA. Guess she's about to reach mainstream audience with this one.

    Also, Fallen Alien sounds exciting, but I suppose it'll be another ballad. Oh well, nothing I can do about it, still gonna support and love her.

    BTW, Thousand Eyes is 5 mins long and it's definitely more than interlude, hopefully it'll stay insane, like you said, and not transformed into piano ballad. :P

    Has anyone heard live versions of MAGDALENE? I wasn't watching performances, so I don't really know what to expect. But tell me this, can I (we) expect some classic FKA songs that actually make you wanna dance weird or are songs basically ballads/chill songs?

    I prefer Graveyard single cover than the actual album cover. IDK, something is off about it and I don't like it. It also reminds me a bit of Lover album cover.

     

    EDIT: Oh, and isn't it, like, too early for a lead single considering the album will be out in January?

    I am so sad that I find only like 4-5 songs that are listenable. I've (as all of us) waited for this album for so long, and now I just don't have a wish to listen to it.. IDK, it's kinda all over the place and too noisy from time to time which is funny cause I'm a huge fan of Pop 2...

     

    Guess I'll wait 3+ years for another album which hopefully won't be mainly for going crazy at the parties. :noparty: :poordat:

     

    EDIT: MAYBE I'll give it a couple of listens again, but I'm not sure. :crying4:
