I feel like the plan has always been two singles. Ever since her magazine last August where she said “two songs before the end of the year” it’s been the plan. I think the album just kept getting pushed back over and over again and now she’s kinda in a rush because she wanted these two songs out before she plays them at Stagecoach, but I do have a feeling there will be more than 13 songs!

"NFR" top of the year followed by "who knows when it's coming" on twitter in March was so traumatic, then there was "single soon album later later" in 2021 that was also bad. I was really hoping for another Ocean rollout, that was our best one since Honeymoon

That said, I'm really curious who here actually thinks we're getting an album in May. I want to hope that most people know it's not releasing in May, but in today's world it's hard to tell. "why do we think the album is delayed" is such a July/August 2020 comment, when we hadn't gotten anything yet and still thought the album was coming out in a month. It's not so cute or fun in 2025

well typically something like this would at least mention the album it is from that said, this could be the 'stagecoach' single to kick off the tour and after stagecoach she could release another song with the album preorder going live. She has nothing planned for May (except the album apparently) so that's a good time to kick off the prerelease with a June/July release date

also "sold out summer tour" and it's 6 shows it really sounds like that's all she's doing this year

not sonically but this is what she did with let me love you. dropped it locally at midnight and posted about it at like 4pm Thursday when more than half the world had already heard it let's just hope there isn't a 6 month wait this time!

I can't wait to hear her mumble this (and other new songs!) on the 25th it's going to be life changing I hope she debuts lighter hair again, she's been giving brunette lately and I already miss her coachella hair let me love you like a woman's country cousin!

Okay Henry is a gorgeous track I’m ready for the album preorder and the second song now!

Long and boring? WHERE sirens with a high budget? WHERE disposable snoozefest? WHERE this is really the first song she’s releasing? WHERE I swear insiders either hear the demo and assume that’s the final song, or they purposefully post negative comments for the thrill of it! this is one of her most beautiful songs and feels like such a natural transition from cocc-bb-tunnel. I’m definitely ready for the whole album now!!
