The “yesterday I heard god say it’s in your blood” part in the first chorus with the rising guitar after it is so beautiful i hope we get more songs with this type of shimmery twangy guitar on the album im not a jack hater but it is nice to hear guitars that don’t sound like they were recorded underwater

I do sort of agree with this - it’s sort of like thunder to me where you can tell it obviously had work done on it after the vocals and main instrumentation of the song were done, and they just laid it on top But I still love the strings so it works for me

Lowkey it would be on brand to release the album on the 4th of July (a Friday) and the last day of her tour probably a more realistic date than may too with vinyl production
