The melody of Paris, Texas is so beautiful and so nostalgic. Very interesting what Lana will do with it and how her voice will enhance the instrumental.

People talk about the lack of visuals, but DYK has the best album photoshoot and concept since Honeymoon... Relax. Taylor announced Midnights in August and the only thing she was doing before the album release in late October was revealing the song titles on Tiktok. It's not March yet and we may have something by then.

Lana is at that stage of her career where she has such a large catalog of music and devoted fans to be allowed take ten steps back from the draining nature of tour life, the toxicity of stalkers/obsessed lunatics out there, and return to places that she feels safe and most comfortable in. Clearly that space is at home with her friends and family. She is a human being set for life and not a machine that needs to pump out videos, tour 24/7 to make a buck. I'm personally super grateful we get new music of such high caliber so often, that everything else falls to the wayside for me.

I mean, yeah, look at Kate Bush - her career is over 40 years old, but she's only had one tour... Some artists don't like to perform in front of a lot of people and prefer to just write songs from time to time. I think Lana is one of those.

The timing... Is it true?

Lana said this back in 2014. She hates touring, it's not healthy and I don't blame her.

We're eating literal crumbs but at least we're not starving.

Kali Uchis > Caroline Polachek > Lana

Both albums will be released before DYKTTATUO so it will be interesting to compare them.

We have the lyrics of the title track and Kintsugi (partly), and it's already better than Blue Banisters, so... 

Me when I see the album credits and every song has a piano in it:

Candy Necklace needs a tempo change or something. Manifesting it won't stay the same for 5 minutes.

Even though I don't think Miley‘s third week will be that strong

Luke's 2022 album did 74k in the US (less than COTCC), so I guess we're fine. Who we should be worried about is Fall Out Boy (also on the 24th). Their 2018 album sold 130k in its first week.

I'll accept another video like Let Me Love You Like a Woman at this point.  Just give us the visuals. 

My guess is that Antonoff produced all the songs that Lana wrote with Hermosa. On the bright side, the title track is produced by 5 people including Jack so he can't be the only producer on the other tracks.
