She seemed extremely nervous and it showed. Didn't sing many parts because she couldn't breathe properly, relied too much on the backing vocalists at times and also on the backing track (which is something I wish she would stop doing and is truly inexcusable for certain simple tracks). I do think she will improve a lot, but she really needs to prepare better in the future imo

Beautiful writing and melody, powerful imagery and so much emotion. It's hard to believe she's released her ninth studio album and she keeps producing songs like this.
A true artist

the song is ok (I really don't like the outro), she sounds a bit off in some parts and I don't understand why she gets too loud in the chorus.. bad mic technique I guess. Hoping for better songs on the album

22 minutes ago, HydroponicWeeds said:you’re right! BUT the difference is this; people especially young people have very easily manipulated minds. People my age don’t always do their research and see which candidate holds similar or meaningful values, has the best foreign policy, best economic goals, best environmental goals. The problem is a lot of people from outside of the country commenting on it doesn’t do any good because these same young people will easily see “Biden is for gays! IM ONLY VOTING BECAUSE OF THAT!” When he may not be the best option and that statement may not be the truth. He may hate gays and put us in a worse case than Trump has. In this case Trump v Biden imo I think he is better than Trump, but he’s still a liar and either way, it’s a loss for the country, the people. During the debates, Biden said he was against the New Green Deal, yet on his website it said he was for it. Are you either for it or against it? You can’t be both.
Im not saying you’re not allowed to talk about it, but if you’re going to try to sway votes or talk to people about who they’re voting for and convince them to vote one way or another— be careful, be knowledgeable even if it’s not your country’s leader. Be able to debate why one candidate’s policy is better than the other. And also, realize that both candidates have issues. They both have down sides to them. If it matters enough to you outside of the US to talk about it, have the info to back up what you’re talking about
Btw I’m not trying to be mean or rude, but it’s true. If we’re gonna have discussions about our shitty politics outside of the US, both sides need to be knowledgeable about it
I simply expressed my preference, I'm not trying to influence anybody's opinion, and I never said Biden is a saint, the same way Clinton wasn't. I've informed myself enough to know that Trump is evil and Biden's foreign policy seems to be in my country's best interests, given trump's continued support on our neighbouring country's dictator. I'll leave it at that, as I don't appreciate making conversation with people who attack and make assumptions about people they don't know.

I mean I'm not a US citizen but this election affects pretty much everybody in the world tbh... praying trump vanishes off the face of the earth for everybody's sake

Why she is being dragged I really don't understand... she simply mentioned very successful women artists of recent times (some of whom I'm sure she likes personally) and expressed her feelings about all the horrible things that have been said about her over the years. She should be left free to share her experiences through her songs. It's clear to me she still feels she can't express herself freely, because she will probably deviate from what is considered politically correct. I think people need to let her be.

That her fanbase has disproportionate amounts of women and LGBT fans is something that isn't really a new or radical idea though - obvs people will come at this from different perspectives but it's interesting to consider the overlaps of shared experiences of a lot of her fanbase and why that makes them relate to her
I guess we can agree to disagree. Sharing experiences is always pleasant however

This is a forum. I am not generalising, I'm asking why people personally experience this.
um I'm not taking a jab at you (I actually like you). I'm just pointing out that if you presume the majority of lana's fans are gay men and young women, you're begging the question. And yes, some of the comments are full of generalisations as you can see. I think the question you're asking has become clearer after the edit. Personally, I'm attracted to her unique sound and used to be interested in her mysterious personality. I couldn't care less about the change in the themes her songs address over the years - I like her unreleased + btd songs as much as I like songs from her latest album.

generalisations don't help and can be offensive in my opinion... I think each one of us likes her for different reasons

isolate yourselves as much as possible, the more you abstain from social gatherings the more lives you save until scientists come up with an effective treatment... this isn't going to be easy, we gotta be strong <3

What a bad choice of words... she should really be more careful at least when she decides to share her stuff with the rest of the world. She has no obligation to involve herself in politics, but when she decides to do so even indirectly, it would be best if she used her fame to raise awareness about still existing issues instead of offending a group of people (although I'm 100% sure she doesn't realise it, and there's no excuse for that).

A marvelous album <3 and I just love the artwork. She looks incredibly beautiful and the background is simply perfect.

I stumbled upon a post about West Coast on a britney fan site back in april 2014... I think it was the first song of hers I listened to, I wasn't thrilled about it at the time (now it's one of my favourites), but I gradually started listening to her music and after that there was no turning back. I replayed the BTD album so much it wasn't even funny. From time to time tbh she's the only artist I listen to. I love her <3

It's such a bad look for a singer to vape/smoke and actually comment on it instead of cutting it out. I literally cannot understand how she justifies this in her mind. It's affecting her singing and I don't even know if the damage she's doing to her voice is reversable. Maybe she doesn't care about her live performances, doesn't she care about her health?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but is this an excuse for her? She's being paid a lot of money for these concerts and nobody forces her to tour I believe. People are allowed to have expectations, she's not doing this for free.
