  1. The signed cd's in the UK haven't ruddy shipped yet. With LFL i had it on the day of release! (Star Is Born took 10 months - lazy cow gaga)
  2. For me, the album release has fallen a little flat; we'd heard literally half the songs before release, and MAC and VB were a year ago already!
  3. I agree with MA/VB but FIILU is one of my worst trax on the album. HIADT... I didn't appreciate it until I heard it in context with the alum to be honest. I love it now but hardly played it as a single.
  4. I think the lyric changes have made this song sound like a demo. The original lyrics have more power. Still beautiful however.
  5. Well my brief review is in, lol. I love it which goes without saying, but it has a couple of misfires. (Bartender and Fuck it) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1x4JXAFZyn/
  6. OMG, lol: it's not her best but I love the below songs. And the album is more eclectic than others which is a bonus. 1. "Love" 2."Lust for Life" (featuring The Weeknd) 3."13 Beaches" 6.Summer Bummer" 7. Groupie Love" (featuring ASAP Rocky) 10.God Bless America – and All the Beautiful Women in It" 11."When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing" 12."Beautiful People Beautiful Problems" (featuring Stevie Nicks) 13."Tomorrow Never Came" (featuring Sean Ono Lennon)
  7. I can't stand Coachella, and I didn't enjoy Mustang until I saw it live for some reason.
  8. Lol - if it had been the standard cover I would agree, as an extra I like it.
  9. Love this alternative cover from Urban Outfitters. https://lanadelrey.fandom.com/wiki/Norman_Fucking_Rockwell!_(album)?file=NormanFuckingRockwellUO.jpeg
  10. I deliberately stayed away form the snippets for that very reason. I wanted something new to experience.
  11. I hear you; I think it's over quickly because we already know half the songs on the album so it doesn't feel fresh and new. And I agree, it's too comfortable. Personally, if she had gone more down the Venice Bitch route I would have preferred that as that is sonically different for her and the instrumentation is beautiful. But that being said, it's a good album.
  12. The tune for me is a mess. It sounds like ideas thrown together that don't mix. The baa-ar-tender bit is naf. But it may grown on me.
  13. Are there no bonus track versions on any of the releases? Japan etc?
  14. I'm really loving this album so far, except for a couple of songs which just sound messy and unfinished: "Fuck it" and "Bartender", the latter being my least favourite. Whilst I'm loving the album, I must admit there is still a little disappointment. The singles, in particular MAC, VB are stunning, and I was really hoping for more of that psychedelic / prog rock kinda instrumentation, it doesn't appear elsewhere enough. I think the lyrics to the new version of TNBAR aren't as powerful as the original leak which is a shame but it's still a beautiful track. I love 'Doin Time' but it sounds out of place. My faves of the 'new' songs are NFR (though dislike the 'yeah' bit just before the chorus, Cinnamon (gorgeous), The Greatest (love it!) and Happiness is a Butterfly (love the switch to the serial killer). As a matter of interest, my best friends (who LOVE BTD album and few songs since) said they are so bored of the same sound and vocal effects and are bored of the Americana style references. They're waiting for her to do something different, raise the tempo etc. I agree with them; it would be nice to be surprised. Whilst big fans can hear differences, in truth it's the same sound and this album isn't eclectic in any way. Anyway.. lets hope the signed cd I/we bought arrives tomorrow. I bought that gaga Star Is Born album signed, and it arrived about 10 months after release! (Lazy gaga.)
