i feel the exact same way. im bummed out, the boiler room set had me expecting a different sound for this album. im underwhelmed by many of the tracks that feel very half baked. HOWEVER. Everything is romantic and 365 are some of the best songs she's ever released. i'm really hoping the deluxe and potential remix album will be more satisfying.

also i wanna say that i was pleasantly surprised by how good the album was. i usually always like her deep cuts more than her singles but that was especially true for this album. lightning and crash are exhilarating. even though it wasn't hyperpop, i wouldn't call it generic pop music either. it had charli's unique flair and it still very much felt like a Charli XCX album.

wait.. theres a studio file for the bandsintown version? i hate to sound so spoiled, but i was so disappointed to hear the change in production for the album version.. i don't think it suits the lyrics at all. the ambient dark version she performed live was beautiful.
