Regardless if "LA" was a demo for "Thoughts" (it sounds fresher tbh) and the parallels between the two tracks, especially lyrically - the lyrics, tone, production and flow is so much harder and darker and stands out in ways "Thoughts" doesn't, even with how unmastered it is. It's so much rawer, than one of the most raw tracks on that close to perfect pop album and I stand by what I said 🤷🏿‍♂️

I just heard "LA" for the first time & I am deceased. This was her "808's & Heartbreaks" Kanye-esque and real/emo/dark banger that we deserved on "HIFN"" but it makes sense, with the lyrics, why the label said no with her fanbase but my GOD, do I want to hear a full and fleshed out and dark and more adult and upheld back honest lyrics Charli out, more than ever.

More than likely. The quality is legit and stores are getting shipments of all the physical this very moment, so would make sense. As much as the leak sucks, it's one of the lates leaks for any of her most recent bodies of work - so I'm happy for that & the shitty snippets that leaked a month or 2 ago, makes me think this def has to be a physical rip.

This is hands down her most grown up album and THERE'S SO MUCH NODS and Inspo from her old work - BUT elevated and PERFECTLY fused into the direction and sound this album was gunning for. This will be appreciated so much more down the line - like some of her best work of the past that didn't get the accolades it deserved off the bat. All the music nerds and pop producers are gonna praise it online and post about it - calling it now. Fantano will give it a 8 (7.5 BARE MIN) - a lot of the hate she's getting for the new sound is from her younger audience, who doesn't have an appreciation for the 80's/early 90's sound she's crushing in a 2022 world. Her older fans are gonna EAT THIS UP. AHHH THIS TOUR IS GONNA BE SICK AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE SETLIST!!!!!

I was NOT expecting the lyrics to Every Rule. Is Huck the person she started seeing on the low, since they both were dating people initially OR is this how the break up started?! (from the lyrics at the beginning at the song) ALSO YUCK = HUCK. 1000000% - everyone was so thrown off by the title and after hearing the song and getting the vibe, as much as the name is fitting and the word used in the song, IT'S DEF A JAB AT HUCK

I HATE MYSELF FOR CAVING BUT I WAS BROKEN UP WITH A COUPLE WEKS AGO AND THIS IS MAKING MY LIFE BETTER + I WILL BE STREAMING 24/7 MARCH 18TH but Every Rule is literally such a perfect fusion of Charli's sound perfectly fused with the Twin Peaks theme + 80's powerhouse ballads. VERY much reminds me of Paula Abdul's "Rush Rush" - which is one of my favorite 80's bops Yuck radiates grown up "Sucker" energy - it's literally the girl from Sucker going to college and getting less angsty and becomes full moody cool art school smoking cigs 80's college girl for this vibe. Could've been on Future Nostalgia tbh. Used To Know Me is my second favorite song so far - since Baby. Constant Repeat and Twice are the only songs I think will top it.

Wait!!!!! EXPLAIN!!!!! Idk the 1975 and FKA connection..... ALSO THEY ARE MY TOP 2 FAVORITE BRIT FEMALE ARTISTS OVER THE LAST DECADE (and I saw them both do their first small club shows in Boston, at the same venue, during their first baby tours in the states, right before they started to become the legends they are and ended up becoming the soundtracks to my life, since) "Meta Angel" on Caprisuns INSTANTLY reminded me of FKA XCX - aka it was the most Charli XCX sounding song that FKA twigs has ever done (and Anthony Fantano said the same thing in his review of FKA's mixtape, after I had tweeted about it sounding like Charli, before - so I feel validated saying that since first listen hahah)

She really has her own unique style - THERE'S NO DENYING & it's stayed consistent, throughout most of her career over the last 5+ years, while slowly elevating. The looks this week def were some of her best and I think the album rollout & (evident) extra bit of label funding for looks & pap photos this week, is just a taste of her just starting to elevate this WILD & unprecedented chapter she's just unlocking #UNLOCKIT

I’m calling it now - Crash deluxe will have the AG COOK “BFY” remix, a “GO” remix”, another remix and 2 new songs (AT MOST - that is prob a HIFN outtake but, hopefully, also something we aren’t expecting). Out Out might be tossed in, but I doubt it. I kind of disagree because I think it fits the aesthetic of the album roll out so far (from all the early teases and posts eluding to selling her soul to a record label & the horror, evil and satan vibes) & with "Baby" confirmed next & the MV clearly seeming to focus on how sexy the song is (which is warranted cause MY GOD IT'S DAT B) vs the overall vibe she's selling for this era - it makes sense in my hood. We def got that vibe you said with "1999" so I agree/get why she choose to do that. Def not opposed to it being the case for a future single but with the world tour starting up - I have a feeling "Baby" will be the last MV for A WHILEEEEEE

WITHOUT A DOUBT MY FAVORITE THING FROM THE NEW ERA - BY FAAARRRRRRR It's already her sexiest song? Methinkso and UGHHHHH the way this is EVERYTHING I would hope the "Janet Jackson influenced" XCX sound would sound like. I was sad to hear Fantano say (while giving "New Shapes" one of the best songs released last week, in his weekly reviews) that he wasn't as excited to hear this new album as much the last 2 and while excited for her to do a new sound, it's not gelling as much as the past singles pre album drop, from the last few. I LOVE GOOD ONES & 80's music and excited for her take on the aesthetic but I have to say I will miss hyperpop/future + out of the box + interesting collabs including pop sounding XCX. She does seem SUPER confident about it and it's def the most $$$$ the label has given her for production - compared to her lasts (looking like more was spent to sound flawless than even "Charli") but it's def gonna be the most unique thing she's done yet. ADULT POP XCX COMMENCE.

Not sure if I missed anyone else talking about this yet BUT the 2020 Grammy nominations come out on Nov 20th. Both "Charli" & "How I'm Feeling Now" were released in the timeframe to be nominated. BOTH albums were insanely critically acclaimed. THE MOST POPULAR music critic on the internet praised it as the BEST album of 2019 (over Tyler the Creator, Billie Ellish, etc). She got her first Mercury Award nom (one of the equivalents of the Grammy's in the UK). I'm probably just an optimistic stan but OUR GIRL MAY GET A NOMINATION OR 2 AND I AM VERY VERY VERY F*CKING EXCITED AT THIS PROSPECT!!!!!!!
