I want the original list of k-12 to get leaked, or the full demo for the principal or SOMETHING. I miss her god tier crybaby style.

it sounded better towards the end of the show like in the bakery and glued but up towards the beginning, especially in play date, she didn't sound like herself. I think it has a time and a place, but she needs to know when that is.

I think Drama Club was a crybaby outtake that she kinda edited and used for K-12, because it'd the only one with Kinetics and One Love. It fits better with Crybaby than K-12 sonically.

That does make sense, and that may be why I never liked the track: It didn't fit, and it wasn't meant to be there. I think recess was never meant to be released, but that's my personal opinion. I also don't think Drama Club, at least, not in its current form, was meant to make the album.

Something about Recess never felt like Melanie wrote it. Its so much slower than her other songs and doesn't match the rest of the album nor the rest of her writing. Maybe it's just me but it sounds like the cowriters didn't most or all of the writing.

Wasn't Notebook a dis at Keenan?

I'm hoping for none at all ❤ Keenan is kinda known as being an awful producer, he's why Madison Beer struggled for so long.

Apparently Mel is still writing with Keenan alongside Kinetics and One Love according to a friend of mine :/ I hope not.

Don't call me girlie, I'm a dude. As for songs being registered that doesn't really mean anything. Arts and crafts is a registered Melanie song and it's just the backing track of her interview episode by the same name.

Jump Rope is fake. I spent the whole morning looking for legitimate snippets of it and there's only fan made fakes.

I want the solo mix of I scream more than I want another leak. Also, gold diggin love and half hearted likely don't have studio versions, though it may have a studio sessions, simmilarly to dear porcupines and rough love (from the same time period) which wouldn't sound very different to what we already have. As for Jump Rope and King of the arcade: both are fake. They are not Melanie songs, and are fan made songs that have spread like wildfire thanks to the new era of younger fans.

If we're getting another leak soon, can someone leak some K-12 era stuff? I feel like some of the scrapped songs are probably better than some of the released stuff. I'm sure there's some.

From what I've heard, no one has it. Trust me, if it exists, I want it, but as far as we know it's a lost file.

Y'all do know that cry baby isn't the first thing she worked on.... Right? It's just the first thing she released. It was probably written right around the time of dollhouse before she'd decided in her sound

I will be the first to admit her stories and her small lives sound really good. I don't know what is holding her back so much in official releases. :/ I guess she's scared to do fun vocals because she might have to do a song live with a difficult vocal, but... Her shying away from that is making her more recent music lack in comparison to Cry baby era writing. Only time will tell if working with kinetics and one love will bring her back to her roots.

It's ugly for people who appreciate musical theory and quality audio.

Nurses office doesn't use much of her range, milk and cookies does. Over all k-12 uses a far more limited range, after school even more so. It's a little sad seeing how she isn't experimental with her vocals anymore.

It cross references teddy bear which makes me think it was intended either as a song for Crybaby's extra clutter (along with teddy bear, play date, cake, and gingerbread man) or a single, not for crybaby itself. I also suspect that this song is supposed to be representative of the point in time Crybaby was unconscious / drugged by her mother in the sippycup music video, with "tell me everything will be alright, I need to get some sleep tonight" Being her speaking to her father, but really nothing is confirmed.

after school, copy cat, and fire drill also all came out late. Even crybaby had a pushed release date. Melanie always pushes back releases.

Melanie is known for taking a really really long time on releases and them always being later than she says. Probably 2023 or 2024.

It's grills meant to look like braces. In a more recent story you can see they only cover her front six teeth, like grills.
