I'd love if you sing a song by Radiohead
"No Supreses" - Radiohead (would be great)"Exit Music (For A Film)" - Radiohead (please, it would be pretty cool absurd!!)
Wicked Game - Chris Isaak, as others have said ...
"Back To Black" - Amy Winehouse
"Life On Mars" - David Bowie...
Also Glory Box or Roads, Portishead!! (Roads in particular, it would be orgasmic ...)

I never noticed the EMA that much ... but I wonder: each artist is their own performance? or have already compiled a list of artists?
In short, I wonder if Lana will be performing tonight uu thx <3 -

The only bad part about being a hardcore PF fan is that I have unrealistically high standards for other musicians haha.
Ahahaha it's true, true ahah all the other musicians seem so incapable haha actually are the PF to be legends
Yeah its weird, I listen to Lana a whole lot more, so maybe it isn't fair to say I like them more. But I connect more with their lyrics and they just have this presence that is ethereal. I also like quality guitar solos and I don't mind lots of instrumentals which they frequently have. And the way their albums flow is amazing, especially DSOTM/WYWH with the transitions.
I also considered them "divine", the best ever (even now I consider them legends, but do not make me so much more crazy) ... then I've been haunted by Lana, and I'm in his community of fans.
(← my favorite smiley, after that by perverted
XD
I tend to like listening to PF an album at a time, so yeah its a time and emotional commitment to listen to them haha. Shine On You Crazy Diamonds is actually my favorite song by them too! The guitar part right before he starts singing the second time is my favorite piece of music period. Its so chaotic but beautiful. I'm also very fond of Brain Damage/Eclipse from DSOTM, so well written. Animals is pretty awesome too, and the storyline of the Wall is just phenomenal and so well done.
And you are right! Each album has its own story, its own context ... you can not mix up too much, although Pink Floyd divide into 3 eras (with Syd-60s, without Syd and Gilmour-70s, without Waters-the end of the PF 90s). However, as any fan of PF crazy for Dark Side Of The Moon. (Speak to Me, Brain Damage, Time, acyl, Money, Us & Them ...: Q ___ PURE ORGASM)
In addition to the various WYWH, The Wall, Animals, I also really like the Saucerful of Secrets ^^ (LTBML, Remeber to Day and STCOTHOTS beautiful !!!)
I actually have high hopes for the new album! Its supposedly almost exclusively instrumental though, with just one song at the end. I don't know how that will turn out and I'm a little worried since Roger Waters isn't a part of it, but David Gilmour does well so I don't think it'll be a huge disappointment. The cover for it looks pretty awesome
(though maybe a little to similar to Life of Pi imagery)I tried to listen to previews, but I decided not to ruin the surprise. ^^ The waiting of pleasure is the pleasure itself. -

Yay, so glad to see this is a thread!
We are only like a week or two from the new album! So excited! I think its going to be awesome based on the snippets tbh. I adore David Gilmour on guitar.
Please if you haven't heard them go listen to "Time" as well as these:
I'd confidently say they are one of the best bands to have ever existed, and Time is the literally best song ever wrote imo. "Wish You Were Here" is my favorite album period, even tops Lanas.
I agree, one of the best bands ever! Although, I do not know why, now beginning to realize that I prefer Lana...I said a blasphemy, but Lana has something that strikes me most ... maybe because she's current and therefore feel her more present, near me, perhaps because her songs aren't from 20-30 minutes, which although an orgasm to feel ("Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Echoes", "Atom Heart Mother" etc ... <3333: Q ____), they last a lot XD
However, the new album will be released soon ... hopefully good ... although I think, like a premonition, that will come out of a mediocre disc almost
My favorite is SOCD....then Time and Echoes however -
Also Fiona Apple u.u

Blanche Dubois. You know, of 'A Streetcar Named Desire'? I've recently re-watched the film and it got me thinking.
From Wikipedia - "(...) the former Southern belle has a lurid past (a marriage to a young homosexual who committed suicide when she discovered his secret; notorious sexual promiscuity; ongoing alcoholism, etc.) as well as genuine spiritual idealism and refinement."I'm sorry, but I did not understand a thing. Wikipedia talks about the film or Lana? That is an analogy with the history of film that has a reflected in an experience of Lana, or is it the plot?
sorry againthanks

her beauty is overrated
it isn't beautiful what is beautiful, it's beautiful what we like u.u it's a subjective thing u.u
EDIT: sorry I did not see the date ... I was back with the discussion <_<
I've always hated Young And Beautiful [..]
:horror:

Does anyone know if Lana said in an interview what is the song that makes it move more? or in a concert that makes it move to any particular memory ...
As happens when Billie Joe Armstrong sings "Wake Me Up When September Ends", because it concerns the death of his father etc etc
thx -
Does anyone know some easy listening remix acoustic-UV latest album?
Only last album, because I'm making a compilation, and I from "annoyance" insert songs a few years agoprefer to make it more current as possible
although Lana deserves always and however
:defeated:
I have already put the cover West Coast of Lawrance Taylor, so I can not add the West Coast (Radio Mix) by Lana ... (otherwise I have two West Coast XD)
is a difficult choice, if you put more songs of Lana, or its cover-remix
thanks

Off To The Races, Diet Mountain Dew, Lucky Ones, are BTD songs that should stick around to more populars there.
You're absolutely right!
Rather than Lucky Ones, in my opinion deserved more notoriety Without You and Dark Paradise
In my opinion the most underrated TV is in Black and White (has a lot of potential, I think)

I just do not feel once Lana in radio in recent weeks ... that I do not know ... I have a vague memory of Shades of Cool, but I saw it on TV 1-2 months ago

Una domanda, scusate se vado un po' fuori tema. Ho letto vari generi accostati a Lana, "hollywood sadcore", "lounge american", "alternative", "indie", "pop"...
Ma qualcuno sa come definirla? è un'artita semplicemente "pop"? Non riesco a capire cos'ha di diverso da tutti gli altri artisti pop...
thank you -

Sorry ... that figure sh*t![](http://lanaboards.com/uploads/emoticons/default_facepalm6.gif)
however, after all, say that the UV will recover (yes, but how then ...
although it is not as horrible album...?
Nice flop ... tour dates there are none, the radio did not feel the slightest mention ..
Meanwhile, Lana is overtaken by the EMA 30 SECOND TO MARS!
What is truly shameful ... ![:crying4:](http://lanaboards.com/uploads/emoticons/default_crying4.gif)
